Missing accent marks but too lazy to look up

This Super 8, they're building the Hohhot Subway, Line 1 right outside the front, 24/7. Massive holes and heavy machinery everywhere. Room is too noisy with the window open

Yes there's Subway and subway. :D

Being British, I would often say underground or tube, as in London Underground. But in China it's subway, when referring to underground transportation.

I'm still in the Super 8, and they're still building the Hohhot Subway outside. Flight to Jinan tomorrow evening, Xiamen Airlines.

NY has the subway, Philly has the "EL" (Elevated train) and DC has the "Metro" which is sometimes above ground, sometimes below. And, you can take the same train through all three rail systems. It can be confusing.

Actually there's a couple of metros here as well.

But in the textbooks and English lessons it's always "subway". And in Chinese it's always the same, 地铁. Whether it's under the ground, or above the ground.

Public transportation, such a common course of commuting. I have Cadbury for a more civilized mode of travel for the highly sophisticated.
