I think my post got sorta lost and skipped over earlier, but this is still driving me crazy:
"When running one of the overclocked kernals, is it necessary for SetCPU to constantly run?
I've noticed that virtually no running apps stay in the list on Advanced Task Killer, even when I know they are indeed running (like Clock, Messaging, Gmail, SetCPU, etc). What's up with that?"
