Still patiently waiting. It's so painful.

I've did all that already. This is my last thing. Lol.The way to relieve the pain of waiting for something, somebody or whatever, is to stop waiting.
Forget about it. Mow your lawn. Go to a movie. Jog.
All of the above.![]()
Has anyone gotten the OTA with wifi? without 3G on? I get crap signal here so wifi is the only thing I keep on.
Has anyone on a leaked version of 2.1 received the ota? Sorry but I scanned and don't have time to read all of these threads. Thanks
I got the OTA this morning from 1.5. The home screen reset itself, but everything re-synced itself within 20 mins or so. All my apps stayed, my contacts re-synced, and my settings stayed the same (ringtones, etc.). Navigation works great, no live wallpapers, and no speech to text, at least not yet. maybe in a patch. who knows.
Does anybody know if all 3 links of the v3 download are good? I'm, on v.2 and want to download v3 in case I don't get OTA. V2 works great except for the apps that won't connect to the internet.
My partner at work just got her OTA update notification last night and has not updated yet. She wants to know if she will need Touchdown for exchange integration still. All the info page says is, "Support for 19 Microsoft
I don't believe the OTA will wipe Touchdown off of her phone, so, if the stock mail app doesn't work for her then she can still use it.
On the v3 leak the mail app worked and supported the Exchange security policies though. I sync'd contacts, calendar and mail with mine for a bit. What I didn't like was that it a.) slowed my phone down a bit and b.) I was only able to sync mail back to 1 day.

Have we heard for sure yet if leakers are going to receive the OTA? I know VZW has said we will but is that confirmed?
haha $20 does seem a bit pricey, but, it enables me to get rid of my Blackberry for work which is awesome and well worth it. With the help of Google Voice to do the call forwarding, of course.
As for the password issue, search the market for LockPicker. It bypasses the need for the password each time you send the screen to sleep. And it's free.

On the count of 3 everyone call verizon and ask them what time today you guys will get the update....
1.....
2.............
2.5..................
3!!!!!
as far as I know some schmuck on VZW twitter said leak installers would get the ota update. It's pretty clear to me, as well as other members on here, that is not going to happen. We may see a full install available in another week or so that we can download and install manually, but, nothing OTA.
I got a dumb question. I usually keep my 3g off unless I need to get online. If I have both 3g and wifi off, will I still get the OTA or do I need to have one of them on?
Did you have "Phone" contacts as well as "Google" contacts?
I did the manual update, and re-synced all of my contacts no problem, because I had already converted them all to Google a few months ago. I know my sister hasn't done this... Her phone numbers were transferred from her previous phone, which sets them as a "Phone" contact. Will those be lost when she gets the OTA update?

v3 is good. v2 had some problems, don't remember what but I wasn't on v2 very long. Have been on v3 since it was released and am happy with it.I was wondering the same thing. they're probably all good.
I had better luck with the middle link and even then had to restart it several times. I could put v3 up on a private server if need be.I was wondering the same thing. they're probably all good.
