2.1 OTA Beginning 5/11/2010

My wife's Eris just got update notice started the download seams slow to download have good signal -73 still seams slow its been downloading for 25 min and not half done. Maryland is starting to get it but not mine yet.
 
Los Angeles, CA - still nothing.

i dig 1.5 and really didnt care to update to any of the leaks. now that the OTA is rolling out, i kinda want it.

Yeah im near Cincinnati...nothing yet for mine. Has the lag in the keyboard been fixed with update? Anyone know?

Must be ladies first. My wife got hers this morning also but nothing for me.

yea there is an apk for install for the 3d gallery app that you HAVE to open with astro or some program like that but it worked like a charm for me im running leak v3

That won't stop them. ;)

It gets repeated around here often, but still the rumors persist.

Perhaps a new thread, "Post here if you still think the Eris can run live wallpapers just like the Nexus One." :D
 
I got my update last night about 9:30, Arizona. I had 1.5. Had to resync my contacts and move my icons back to where i previously had them. Other than that, it was pretty easy, and didn't lose anything. A bit annoyed that I still can't get Swype! I was looking forward to that and google goggles (which works).
 
i think there may be some custom roms that get it to work if your rooted but thats a whole other topic and i dont know for sure so i never said it :)
