Running Ic3rom v.2.5.6 and loving it.

I tried that Rom last week. I like the vanilla look but I missed some things from sense. Like the camera and htc keyboard. Also you have two contacts icons on you home screen. One is under the browser icon. For some reason that ROM does that.

Fresh 2.1.1

Best part is the freed up memory. Im sitting at 50mb used with more apps installed than I had installed on 2.0d.

How do you take screen shots without rooting? Anyone?

Step 1: Enable USB Debugging

On your Android phone (in this case, the G1), go to Settings, then Applications, and then Development. Check the checkbox for "USB debugging."

Step 2: Download the Android SDK

Download the SDK for your platform here.
Go ahead and plugin your Android handset into a USB port on your computer, if it is not plugged in already.

Step 3: Run DDMS

You need to open up the DDMS application from within the "tools" folder in the Android SDK's main folder.

After DDMS launches, select your handset from the menu on the left (it should be the only device listed). You might see an error message, but the debug tool should be loaded. Then, click CTRL-S on your keyboard. This will bring up the "Device Screen Capture" interface. From here, a static image is captured from what is appearing on your handset. You can save the image (nicely defaulted as PNG) and then refresh to your heart's content to grab updated or different screenshots from your phone.

That's it!

:D

@Novafox238,where did you get your wallpaper if you don't mind me asking.?

SwitchPro Widget (Paid App - .99)

Well worth it. I love it. Has more options than shown to customize it, and can also be transparent. Amazing Switcher widget.

Sorry to bother, Nova, but I am having an issue with the mobile data button on the widget. I noticed in your screenshot that you have mobile data running, but that the widget doesn't indicate that it is on. Does that part of the widget work for you? I only ask, because I can't seem to make it work, and wanted to ask you before I email the dev.

Dont mind one bit. I made the wallpaper myself. If you want I can post a link? I plan on making more. It was one of those moments, where I got tired of "looking for some" so I made him. Oh from scratch too. I enjoy doing photoshop work. ^_^

Not a bother at all. :) You know what, I use JuiceDefender, and I was thinking maybe the program had something to do with that bug, because it automatically switches the data on and off... but seeing how you can toggle it either, it may be a bug in its self. Thanks for pointing that out tho. ;)
