I'm D/L it now, but wont install it until I know there are no bumps in the road. Lol, 1/2 hour now and I only got 40+ megs... 118 total it said, so there must be MANY who are D/L it now, lmao...

Well my title is for the visually challenged. Sorry if it was a repost but you have to admit that several "today is the day" threads are trumped by a " it is here and here's the DL" title. I think its a bit clearer then the rest of the "clutter"

Foodman... chill... it's all good, the other 2 threads are slightly different. The MOD's will clean it all up for sure if it gets messy.
Just some caution... on the XDA site, it has been noted that the MD5 checksum is identical to the leaked version they have had for a while now. There are KNOWN issues with it. So, like I said... I'm taking it down, just to have it for now, but would prefer my phone not to be used as a Guinea Pig. 1.5 Working just fine on mine!!!

Which is why anyone with root shouldn't be downloading 2.1 considering there are already really good versions of 2.1 out in the world of root such as Fresh 2.1.1.

like someone said above. you'll need Windows. the next step android should take and htc for that matter is to make updates/software that is compatible with other platforms (funny how they don't have public software that works in linux). and perhaps a sync that actually synchronizes things (ie...system backup).
but man this download is crawling. haha...it's as if there's a slickdeals effect happening now.
