The Droid comes out this week, what are your biggest pre-release concerns

huge concerns on the limited app space. I've read conflicting info from unreliable sources all over, but nothing that I can pinpoint as a definitive answer.

Ram limited apps or not?

LTE will not be ready this year, not a chance. Maybe by this time next year, but even then VZW has to upgrade the tower infrastructure for it to actually use LTE. Nothing to be concerned about at this time.

Weight, Design, and Keyboard

My biggest concern is the builtin Exchange support. I could not get the 2.0 Emulator connect to my corporate e-mail. (my iPhone and BlackBerry works without a hitch.)

I did get the emulator to connect to my gmail and hotmail accounts though. So I am just going to cross my fingers and hoping it was some weird emulator thing.

Well im a media freak and when I heard the Droid was able to record D1 video I got verrrry excited but then I heard it only records 24fps. Is this a hardware limitation or software cause the iPhone has roughly the same hardware as in cpu gpu but has a 3 meg camera and records 30 fps with the best audio ive ever heard coming from a cellphone video camera. I know the droid records at 720 by 480 and the iPhone at 640 by 480 but that extra 80 lines of res shouldnt lower the frame rate that much. The Instinct HD (5meg) can record 720p video at 30fps and D1 at 80fps so im pretty sure its a software limitation. So my question is can someone create a Video camera app that can change the video to 30fps or more if possible? Ohh and also is the screen glass or plastic?

My main concern is that I won't have anywhere to put more Cowbell.

Really nothing has been glaring to me minus maybe the keyboard change. I'm coming from a BB 8330 which has, arguably, one of the best keyboards in the BB line IMHO. Lasts forever, decent spacing, etc.

I've previously had an HTC Touch Pro and HTC 6800 so the slide out keyboard is somethign I really like, but it's going to be a change. One I'm ready to dedicate time to, though.
