Handcent problem: can't copy attachments to SD card

First off, I am running 2.1 from OTA update. I use Handcent and previously I had no problems copying attachments to my SD card. Now, however, I try to copy a photo from a MMS and I get the error message "copying attachment to SD card failed." Did I mess something up by accident? Are there any settings or anything I can check to make sure I didn't change something inadvertently?

Yep; been there, done that

uninstall/reinstall or as some say - full reset ( I didn't want to do that )

Uninstalled, reinstalled, works like a charm now. No need to factory reset.
