Fatality: 2020

Edmonton Oilers player Colby Cave has died at 25 less than a week after suffering a brain bleed (apparent cause for that is unknown).
This is terrible. So young. :(

Apparently, he had a colloid cyst putting pressure on his brain; he had emergency surgery to address that, and was put into a medically-induced coma. Then he died.

He leaves a young widow. She and other relatives were not allowed to be with him, due to COVID-19 restrictions--which I think should be lifted under circumstances like this. It's getting really hard to see story after story where a person died alone in a cold, sterile hospital with strangers covered from head to toe, no human touch, no loved ones there to comfort them or be comforted, to say 'I love you' one last time, to say goodbye... :(

May I add in a personal death like I did a while ago?
My old friend, retired Dentist whom really got out of traveling and really great conversationist about anything,
who was around in his 70s, who was a friend at the Master Gardner project that my Mom has been in for a huge ammount of time,
who took his time and stopped in my side occupation, that talked with my girlfriend, just a little bit at a time.
He will be missed Rest in peace Dr. Alan Broadbent. He was married for ages, his wife and grandchildren survive.

Tony- and Emmy-winning actor Shirley Knight has died at 83.

She had quite the career! The multi-talented, versatile actor seemingly could do it all--stage, screen, TV, she did it all, and she did it all well.

I remember her from one of my favorite TV shows from the '80s, thirtysomething.

She will be missed. :(

Kim Jong-un, depending on what news channel you're looking at.
If he is dead , I am calling it right now his sister had something to do with it, I get a bad vibe off that chick, I am sorry but there is something wrong with her .
As for President Kin Jong -un is just me or does that guy always look like he wants to check his watch to see how longer he has to be at what ever public event he is at?

We all do that, it is our nervous habbit anyways.

I had to Google her once I saw her picture I knew automatically who she was

Lorna M Breem MD was an emergency room medical director for Presbyterian_Allen hospital in New York, she died by Suicide. I figured if there is someone who truly deserve to be mentioned it was her and all the other medical professionals who have died because of the Corona virus regardless if it was from contracting the virus or dying from suicide, my deepest condolences to her friends, family and colleagues

Awesome way to die, but yeah my condolences.

Didn't the link I posted have pictures? I thought it did.

Anyway, a loss of a very talented actor.

Funny, but I was just thinking about thirtysomething a few days before she died--first time in a long time. What prompted it was something I was writing, and I used the word 'dramedy'--which I associate with the show. As I recall, the term was coined because of thirtysomething's mix of drama and comedy. And then Knight died. Just weird timing.

Thank you for that, joe71. I've lost two very close people to suicide, and I don't think it gets the attention it deserves.

Dr Breem had to spend many years learning/studying to become a practicing physician. It's a long, hard path that requires much dedication. I'm sure that she positively impacted many lives/families. It's tragic that when she needed help herself...for whatever reason(s), it either wasn't there, or she didn't see it as a viable option, or...something. RIP. :(
