I was thinking of starting an "Official" accessories thread since more and more stuff is getting "leaked," but figured I'd leave that for someone else to do on another day.

Checked a site that I bought accessories from for my Touch Pro and they have EVO cases available now:

HTC EVO 4G Cases & Holsters

I know that people were looking for that HTC official leather sleave, so there you go. $19.99. That's what I paid for the one I have for my Touch Pro and it's nowhere near as nice. I'm probably going to go with a hard case back cover and front screen protector, but thought I'd post this for the people that were looking for it. It also has an Otterbox case for sale (but the phone in the picture isn't the EVO, so I'm not sure if it's available yet.
 
Has anyone else here pre-ordered the Evo Ghost Armor full body protector? I've been looking at screen/full body protector and a lot of people have given ghost armor good reviews. The site says if you order now, you get $10 off the purchase, which brings the full body protection to $15. I bought 2 of them last week, but I wasn't sure how long I'd have to wait before they actually develop the cover for the Evo.

I ordered 2 a couple weeks ago and the site told me they were in transit, but there was no tracking info. So I e-mailed them and was told they they aren't shipping them until after they get an EVO on the 4th. :/

I went the Zagg InvisibleSHIELDS route and took advantage of g a 50% off coupon someone mentioned a few weeks ago when entering in the iPad give-away and got my full body maximum protection for $15. I received my kit last week. Zagg has been sending me coupons ever since so I decided to get my Hero a custom ZaggSkins for my wife after I pick up my EVO!

I'm not sure if the coupons are still being given away, but if you like Zagg take advantage.

Out of curiosity, can you have, lets say google maps nav on the phone while driving and also have the phone connected to the car for music(aux)? Or is that a bit much?

No, the new sub-forum for Accessories will be created by months end if not sooner by the admins. Plus a few other sub-forums. That does not mean you cannot start one if you want. Go for it. As long as i catch it or am informed of it, then I can remember to move it to the new sub-forum once its created.

You can have both running it is fine. If it works like the Droid then it will stop playing your music when the nav lady tells you to turn and then will go back to the music after.

My HDMI cable is scheduled to be delivered Wednesday and I get some pictures or something right away.

I googled the Evo in the news part and read that Radio Shacks will be equipped with Clearwire Wimax repeaters prior to the launch. I don't know how to post links yet. Such a newb. My bad.

EDIT: the article did state "various RS stores across the country""
