I could use Google Fi if I wanted, but rather expensive though.

There's a few vendors selling Google Fi SIMs with activation on Taobao, basically as way for users to bypass the Chinese GFW internet censoring, if they're willing to pay the price.

The wonders of grey market/black market telecoms. :thumbsupdroid:

Im with Sprint. I signed up way back with the five phone line "Family Plan". They used to offer a new phone discount when resigning every two years.

Fi is a lifesaver for people who dont want to spend money for sim cards

Yeh but a Google Fi SIM about $100 USD up front fee, plus whatever their monthly subscription and data plan charges might be. That's a lot of money to spend on a SIM.

Why is it a "lifesaver for people"?

I assume you're in the US. then yeh from what I've read Fi is much cheaper than Verizon(Big Red) or whatever.

Let's not forget the little people.
Before Alexander Graham Bell made the first practical ring tone out of metal, you'd never know someone was calling you.

Verizon hands down best nation wide coverage in the United States. Most drivers use either Verizon or AT&T
