are you surprised at this? i mean twitter, facebook and instagram has banned trump's accounts.
Apprently Apple is going to ban Parler as well.

I'm well used to internet censorship and ways to get around it. and while on the subject, it was the POTUS who ordered TikTok and Wechat banned in the US.

It's not the platform of choice for mainstream conservatives in Britain. It's mainly used by the far right here.

Those terms are subjective, whereas the attempt to censor opinion critical of an authority is not.

OK, let's put it another way: it's a favoured place for people from the UK who have been banned from other platforms because of persistent racism or advocating violence, and has little profile here outside of those circles.
I agree that terms like "far right" are subjective. But then so is "conservative", since that term also means different things, sometimes radically different, to different people.

The same thing happened to GAB a couple years ago.
They had to build a new system of their own.
Parler seemed dull to me anyway.
If they were smart, they would have seen the writing on the wall when it happened to GAB.
Parler is virtually impossible to log into when compared to other sites, yet they get hacked more.
Pointless frustration for users.
GAB is better in every way.
Telegram is another that brilliantly started out on their own system from the very beginning, leaing them unable to be shut down by people that oppose free speech.
For those that are unaware, Telegram is how many people around the world communicate soas to avoid government/commercial oversite.
