Samsung Galaxy

OK. Yes, thanks. I've seen that before.
I'm wondering if it may not be possible to edit the Pin unlock screen background colour, as from the replies I've seen so far, no one has mentioned that screen itself?
I said a million times over, you can make the different hue of each tone in the color combination and then, have the tinted digital clock by pressing a button that can make it darker or lighter.

Basically.
Watch the video and follow it with the instructions.

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked TODAY at 10 AM EDT!

Expected unveiling of the Z Flip/Fold 7; Watch 8; Watch Ultra 2; and maybe even a peek at the tri-fold G Fold! I know the Darling Bride is disgusted with her Watch 7's pathetic battery life and wants an upgrade: I'm happy with my Watch Ultra but am interested to see what the new model offers.

Samsung is betting the farm, going all in on freaking AI... especially the egregiously intrusive Gemini. No, thank you.

The Z Fold 7 does NOT support an S Pen, not even an external one - so that huge canvas is wasted. HARD NO.

The Darling Bride ordered the new Watch 8 with the larger battery, and got a great trade-in on her Watch 7 that brought her pre-order cost down to $135. Not bad for a watch upgrade...

The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2025, however, has such scant few upgrades over last year's model that the original Watch Ultra isn't even listed for trade-in. Taking the maximum trade value listed, it would still cost over $400. No, thank you.

We have to have our S Pens, as we have some dexterity stuff and they really help. I like Perplexity and occasionally use it: but I'm not going to plunge headlong into an AI assistant world that results in my depending on it all day, every day. That's just mental laziness IMO.

Really really lazy..

WTF is up with my generation?

I don't think anyone is contacting Samsung and Google (as if contacting Google were possible), screaming and demanding AI to make their lives livable. I truly believe this is being pushed at us by digital drug dealers hoping to get people addicted so they can monetize it.

the fold 7 looks super sweet. bummer on the s-pen, but damn that is a nice thin device.
i'm gonna wait and see. i need to see one in person. i'll probably wait until sometime next year to get one.

and i think i will skip the galaxy watch 8. i do love my ultra 7 at the moment.

Not just them either.

The original ChatGPT release launched a bubble. Now all of the tech companies are afraid they'll miss out if they don't put "AI" (sic) in everything, others are renaming their crappy customer service chatbots as "AI" because the marketing people have said this looks good, user interfaces are being cluttered with unwanted "AI" buttons that you can't get rid of, etc. I just hope this bubble bursts before I have to replace my s21.

No problem with my watch's runtime, as long as I remember to wind it. ;)

I sent a message to Motorola to the effect that I hope they're ready for a massive influx of customers. Those of us die-hard Note and S Pen fans, who are watching Samsung phase out the S Pen, will be looking for an alternative. The Motorola G Stylus has many of the same features (except Bluetooth); 68W wired charging; a microSD slot; and costs less than $400 NEW. Once Samsung sunsets the S Pen for good and the Galaxy S24 Ultra is growing really dated, I'll dump Samsung faster than it's dumping me.

This is just a personal observation and by no means denying the usefulness of the S Pen. And do keep in mind that I live in Kansas :) I have yet to witness anyone using the tool. Why would Samsung phase out the feature if it's cheap enough to put in a budget friendly phone?

To cut production costs because they're losing money, because no one wants to buy their dumbed-down, AI-powered phones. Their solution, then, is to dumb their phones down even further and offer even MORE AI features (absolutely free for a whole six months)... yeah, that'll bring the money rolling in!

Interesting way to lure the old Galaxy Note holdouts to the new Z Fold 7... get rid of the very thing that made the Note a Note! I won't even buy the S25 Ultra because the S Pen functionality was dumbed-down. What Note fan would want that huge screen and no way to use a pen on it?
