...because they interact with the meat and marinate it. For the same reason you paint a car by spraying the paint on it rather than in the garage where you park it.Why are rubs always use to rub the chicken or pork, why not simply sprinkle them inside your home made dish first?
I like it like to sprinkle on my plate sometimes, I am not a porfessional cook...because they interact with the meat and marinate it. For the same reason you paint a car by spraying the paint on it rather than in the garage where you park it.![]()

I think mom started when I was young, and still discovering new memories from years before. My Darling Bride just ordered TEN more binders for all the loose photos. I wouldn't even know where to start digitizing, naming and sorting them all... I don't have enough days in the year for that.
Know what my mother did the dvd thing for the older generation of my Grandparent's and it was worth it, I got to say if you keep a DVD player around, your kids can watch it over and over too. My mother upgraded my photo album, an eight by ten to a monster one that is deep enough to keep in even more memories she photographed. My wife categorized our old pictures and put them into plastic containers. Mostly they are grouped by child... we had four. I carried around one of those suitcase size vhs recorders and captured everything the kids did. I told my son once that I planned to transfer them to dvd so the kids could watch them. He looked me in the eye and said "dad, nobody has a dvd player anymore". So much effort for not.
