Ispend like a few hours at my sister's place and whisper "By the time that Iturn on the tv and watch something mom will be here to pick me up..."So I decided to turn on the tv after listening to some music on my cellphone, watched an old tv show called Benson and I was like "wow that is a horrible show.." Then was channel flipping to an okay show ..

This was when we were finishing leaf blowing the deck and we were going to fish out in a local seafood place called Woods.

Said to my mother the other place Cabby Shack placed a hospitality tax of 5.4% of the sum total, I think they where about thirty dollars for bowls of chowder and drink.

For the three of us. Cups are like five dollars a price, and drinks where four a person.

Was watching Rick and Morty on dvr like a few minutes ago, they almost stole my concept but within the remaing of the episode they where like "Nope" I smile.

Got a new sims card finally today, too bad it was raining out,my sister's screen protector and everything was just in ruins, she is getting a new basic cell without much functionality or anything, It was about 20 minutes top at the store. I am feeling better, this is how we celebrated our father's day without a father.

Thank you! It should be a lot of fun... our last reunion was in Oxnard California (BEFORE the fires) and included a tour of the Navy's surface weapons test platform, formerly known as USS Paul F. Foster. Though heavily modified over the decades, it's the last Spruance-class destroyer still afloat. It was amazing to roam the passageways and see the spaces with which we're so familiar... the memories came flooding back!

Day 111 of my ankle, foot, well I need to prop it up in like my sofa up for a few hours, but everything is pretty much coool.

My sister almos had to get into a different vocher because her new cell "Has not functioned right" meaning it was a gliched.
Mine has been running super smooth since I got the new sims card in.

Like about three hours ago, I successfully did a factory whipe out, seeing about my text messages where funky and a few other things, I could figure out even lag sometimes not due to wifi, so I did it in a solid hour, I just hooked it up with my tablet and I was happy, because I am near my pc, and I just figured out the emails would of been lose but it saved my emails handle!!!

Yeah the air is so muggy out and it is so dry heat... Glad I am not going out today..

Yesterday, I saw a truck that looked just like the one I owned that was totaled a couple of years ago. Mine was a 2014 Ram 1500 Regular Cab Long Bed equipped with the 5.7L HEMI V8. It was tricked out with all available creature comfort packages and cameras. I loved that truck. Seeing another like it made me a bit sad. It broke my heart when it was broadsided.

Speaking of seeing vehicles. It was just a few days ago that I saw a 1968 Mercury Cougar. I bought a used one in the fall of 1970 for $1,800. It was Mercury's attempt to get some of the Mustang market. It was a decent car and was certainly more sporty than the 1961 four door Oldsmobile it replaced. I hadn't seen a Cougar in years. Okay, now my feelings are hurt. Google says that restored 68 Cougars value vary from $15,000 to $45,000 depending on trim packages and condition.

Bear in mind 60's/ 70's dollars vs. 2026 dollars-

Also add maintenance/repair/restoration costs and it's a different picture.

I had a '72 Cutlass some years ago, it wasn't a 442 but it was a 4-speed with the Hurst console, high-output 350 (not saying much by '72 with emission-reduced HP) with 4bbl carb, dual exhaust and 10-bolt rear. It was a good driver in decent shape but would have needed a $$ resto to be really nice.

My wife managed to wreck mine that prompted the change of vehicle. Oddly enough, I ran across the person who bought my Olds years later. She was bragging about how little she had done to the vehicle to keep it on the road. Routine maintenance and that's it. I never spent any money on it beyond routine. Would have been a good car to park in the barn. The Cougar I mentioned a post or two back was a money pit. It seemed like something was always wrong with it.

I never enjoyed the luxury of having a vehicle that I wasn't driving. My father restored and tinkered with old vehicles. He restored a 36 Ford pickup, and a 37 Chevy when I was growing up. I drove the pickup around the block with my buddies piled in the back. It didn't start but I put it in gear and chugged around the block. My dad would have killed me had he known. Later he restored a 64 Mustang and a 57 T-Bird. I have had some nice vehicles but they were daily drivers.

Ever since been listening to Deep tracks, I come across one of those artist that I really seem to enjoy and today, just a few seconds ago I listen to IQ's song called "the wake" Really a deep end of soft rock.

I was cleaning out a closet and found a few boxes with some old laptops in them. I'm going to see if any of them work before either scrapping or selling them depending on the hardware.

Since the start of last week, meaning on Mon, I could not fall to sleep, this is what July the third?
It is not the deep tracks of my own mind either, just something shaked up and somehow my business side of head woke me up this early
(typing at three a.m. in Illinois time).
