Minor things. Such as when you select the app tray, it glows green instead of orange, as well as selecting apps. Also, I've changed the included wallpaper.

How does one properly install the new themed ADW launcher? Do you install it first then uninstall the older version or visa versa? Being new at running scripts I've got to ask a newb question, running the script is as easy as typing the commands in Terminal Emulator and letting Android do its thing right...?

You have to uninstall the old one, then install the new themed one. And yes running the script is typing exactly what you see and the OS does the rest.
 
just wiped + flashed this rom, working beautifully

two quick questions -

-on previous nexbeast, i was running new version of launcher pro which let me set the 4 shortcut buttons. the default in this rom has the nice 3d app tray that I like, but it seems like I cannot set any shortcuts...am i just missing something?

-i put bekit 1.1ghz LV on and its running well. People have said they have lower temps with p3 kernels and im intereste in trying ... do i need to re-wipe/install or can i simply install a p3 1.1ghz over bekits?

Lol, sorry form my stupidity guys, its there, I just had my phone on charge when I flashed everything over and it doesnt show up when charging, soon as I pulled it off this morning there it was.

And also, when I flashed mine over, I didnt do a wipe or anything and its working perfect.

I've switched kernels without doing a wipe of date/cache and never had any issues.

About your launcher issue, you might be looking at a different launcher and not Launcher Pro. To get Fab's Themed version of Launcher Pro you need to download a seperate file (link and instructions found in OP).
 
Looks like mediafire is having problems. All of their links in the op are dead. Does anyone have another link to - Themed LauncherPro 0.3.0?? Thanks in advance.

I've been loving this rom. It's so smooth @ 900Mhz with P3 kernel. I've never seen my phone go as low as 20*C before now! I really like the themed google search widget that you have on helixlauncher though. Is there a way to get that skin for the search widget on Launcher Pro?
 
I had to go to cyanogen 5.0.7.1 because the battery life at 800 mhz sucked on this rom. I was losing 10 percent every 20-30 minutes of use

After studying the operating system and how it manages system apps and apps installed in the data partition, there's no real reason to move an app from /system/app to /data/app. I see no advantage, other than to say, "Hey, look what I did ... and it werked". :p
