Can someone recommend a Task Killa please? I see their are various on the app market, I assume the free ones are not as good as those which you have to pay for?

I have Advanced Task Manager. Best .99 I've ever spent.

Not at all. You can "test drive" any Market apps for 24hrs so my advice is d/l a few and see which you prefer yourself.

watch out with these things stop the alarm clocks I have found out on more than a few occasions....

no alarm - wake up late ! ARGH - a bit short sighted on the developers front... I use task manager 1.10.4 - works really well

Probably 'cos they 'kill' the Clock process which controls the alarms. If you're going to use task killers, you need to know which processes/apps are required by the system (or by others) and exclude them.

Yes, I use Task Panel and it does kill the alarm clock even though I put the alarm clock under the ignore list. I was late for work a few times. I bought a mini Casio alarm clock.
