Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

Ordered: 5/18
Scheduled Ship: 6/8

Just got my email last night (6/3) stating that it would be delivered on 6/7. Did other people pay for overnight shipping when they ordered it and is that why you are getting it next day or did Verizon just give it to some and not everyone?

It's like now that I KNOW when it will be shipped, I'm even more anxious!!!

Not sure if you're talking about online orders or what, but my in-store order receipt says "FEDEX STD OVRN $0.00" so my assumption is that they gave it to me for free.

As for online orders, Overnight shipping is free assuming you use the discount code provided on their website.
 
At like noon on Tuesday EST...just checked it's out for delivery!!! Of course I know it will likely sit on the truck all day since the UPS guy never gets here before 5 pm. I feel lucky

yeah Mine made it to destination facility hoping with in the hour it will say out for delivery if not I will drive and pick it up.:D
 
They never placed your order. It would've shipped by now.

Stopped in yesterday. After a LOT of digging, he confirmed my order was placed 5/14. The store confirmed this on May 17 when I was there asking about it. Then May 22 it was "voided due to inactivity." He said that nothing had happened with my order for a while, and no one was watching it, so it was canceled. :eek:

I said some strongly worded things, and he said he'd be happy to order it for me right there. I told him to suck it, and ordered it myself at home.

Here's to another 3 weeks of waiting . . . :(

Call customer service with your order number and explain to them. Demand an expidited order. You should not have to wait another 3 weeks! Threaten to drop service and tell them you will not pay any cancellation fees! Stand strong and firm! It's not your fault verizon messed up! Your phone should be the next one they ship out!
 
I am currently waiting to see if they will change the shipping speed from 2nd day to overnight. I got my fedex tracking number this morning (thurs) and it said I should have it on Monday and I freaked. Verizon told me on multiple occasions that they will overnight it when it's in stock. They lied. I called and the CSR said he put in a request with "corporate" and I'll know by 5pm today if the switch to overnight was approved. I suspect he just told me this because I was pissed, but he did give me a "trouble ticket" number to verify later. FedEx told me this was possible, I just needed verizon's approval...

UPDATE: Verizon didn't budge. Rather than spend an extra $10 and make one of their customer's REALLY happy to have it delivered today, they chose not to and I have to wait until Tuesday (it will be delivered on Monday to an empty house, I have no choice but to release it to my front door the next day...)
 
Talked to a CSR about the mailed promotion price, and after a transfer and checking the account, etc., I finally did end up getting the additional $50 savings credit to my account (which will be applied once I receive the phone and activate it). Now back to waiting on that shipping email...

Second-day really does you a lot of good when shipped on Thursday, huh? I had the same thing happen to me. I would have gladly paid extra for overnight. Very disappointing!

Expected Arrival June 7, 2010 before 3PM (FedEx overnight)
Shipping to Minneapolis - FedEx hasn't posted info regarding where it's shipping from yet.

A few things of note: The order number in my Sales Confirmation e-mail, and my shipping notification are different. The Sales Conf. e-mail starts with 1000xxxxxx and my shipping notification order number is 6 numbers.

Shipping notification also notes my sales location as: M681101

If you have a problem with how staff administer this site, take it via PM to the Admins. Any further posting like this will get the thread locked.

Sure you've got a right to ask.... but that doesn't equate to a right to expect that your wishes will be fulfilled. It certainly doesn't give you the right to ignore staff member's requests.
 
I ordered 5/18 online with VW. Still nothing.

Very frustrated. I'm holding on to a thin strand of hope that maybe I was just one of the people who didn't get a shipping notification and that it will show up at my house today anyway.

FYI I just called and they said they ship up until 9:00pm from Lexington Ky and it will go tonight (tap tap tap) . They also do not require a signature and will just leave it at the door. :eek:


Just a follow up, I was able to cancel my Verizon order NO PROBLEM.

It'll probably still show up at my door but they claim it won't:D

Didn't get notification yet, but since I ordered in store I will probably not get one.
Will be nice to be able to play with the phone over the weekend, don't think my heart can take 3 more days of waiting...
 
I ordered 5/15 over the phone, was told it would ship 6/04. I got a text from Verizon today that I had until 6/17 to activate or get charged $380. I had received no email or anything telling me the phone had shipped, so I called and found out it will deliver today via Fedex!:D
 
Just curious - have any PHONE(611) orders received an email notification? I am fairly sure that i never gave one while ordering, but they may have it already for the account..
 
Fedex just delivered at my work....no phone :( boo!!!

I'm a phone order and have gotten no notifications. In fact when I called back a week later to let them know I wasn't getting notifications, they said the CSR had entered my contact email as none@.com

Horrible sales rep!
