Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

Ordered mine in-store on 5/29. I talked to VZW cs today to get my order number and they told me expect it to be shipped 6/18.

The wait is killing me. I love my Moto Q9c, but I want the incredible so badly.
 
Ordered: 05/17/10 from Verizon store
Location: San Diego
Confirmation email: Never received one
Received: 06/03/2010
Received a day or two before the ship to date they originally quoted.

Maybe now I can forget about this post and get on with enjoying my phone.

I ordered my Incredible via Verizon Call Center on 5/22 Verizon agent said the phone was IN STOCK will be shipped out on Monday 5/24. Called back Monday to get tracking info.. they said my Incredible 's ship date was 6/11. I wasnt please so I inquired as to why the person I placed the order with said it was IN STOCK. They didnt have an answer so I request a supervisor to call back.... no call.

I decided to check on my order's status again earlier this week on Tuesday 6/1... and I ask for a supervisor to return my call about my order. I got a call the next day at 8:05 am PST.. the supervisor said he would check my account daily and email me with a tracking number as soon as he see's one for my order.

Fast forward to today 6/3... I recieved a promotion in the mail for a HTC Incredible for 49.99 I got mine for 99.99, came to 151.66 after taxes etc. So I called and asked if they could extend me this discount even thought I had placed my order... she put me on hold and when she came back she said she would credit my account $50. So that makes my HTC Incredible cost 49.99 with the final total coming to 101.66 after taxes.

FYI I was told they MIGHT be able to upgrade my shipping to next day if they could...

Anybody else receive $49.99 HTC Incredible offer in the mail??
 
Date Ordered: May 25th

Just called my VZW rep (I ordered in store). He said most of the orders he's seen have received a shipping number around 12 days after their order, but maybe it's just my region. He told me to expect a shipping number on June 5th or 6th, and I should receive my phone within a couple days after that. I'm holding my breath on that info though...
 
If you want the thread closed keep arguing. Amazon orders are not off topic. I am going to have the flames deleted.

Same here and my order still says shipping soon :( oh well it will still make it by monday if it ships friday (i think)

Yeah I got mine for $49.99 through the VZW Private Sale, I had the CS apply the $100 mail-in-rebate instantly to my order...but because of CALIFORNIA TAX rules (We have the unfortunate pleasure of being taxed on the full retail price of the phone, no matter how much we get it for) my total was $101.
Still not bad though.

Ordered on 5/18 (evening) via phone
2 day shipping, expected delivery is Monday (6/7)
It shipped from Memphis, TN

So excited! :D

Edit: When I ordered the expected shipping date was 6/8...
 
I stuck this thread in order for you folks to keep this thread easy to access. In fact, I fought, today, to have it continue to stay stuck until the phone comes out. As it stands, I am beginning to agree with the MODS that it is not the type thread to be stuck.

Next step is to see if I can get it back under control. If I can't, it gets closed. Your choice.
 
I for one greatly appreciate this being stickied. I think it should be until supply catches up with demand and this is no longer the thread everyone obsesses over.

on 5/23 went to a verizon kiosk and asked if they have and Incs in stock
they did not but the sales guy said he could get on in 3 days, I said lets do it.
On 5/24 he said he could not get it any faster and would leave my online order as is.

Well today 6/4 I look at my CC statement and see a charge and a refund dated 5/27. I call Verizon and they say my order was canclled and no new orders submitted. I am 2 months early on my upgrade date so I am not eligible at BB or Amazon.

I like all of you have been eagerly awaiting my phone ( checking order status 4 times a day, and it still shows the same message never said order cancelled )and now I'm so mad I just had to post my frustrations, maybe it will make you all that have to wait 3 weeks feel better. I wont get my phone now until 6/24 :mad:

That really sucks. What good does 2-day shipping do when it's shipped on a Thursday???????? I guess I've waited this long, but really, they couldn't give us overnight? I would have gladly paid extra for it.

Sorry to hear about that, sucks that you now have to wait extra for it. But at the positive side, I think that the order will definitely ship before the 6/24...you might get it around 6/20.

2 day shipping is "2 business days" which really sucks.
 
Order placed 5/18 at night. Order in system shows 5/19.
Finally got the ship notification just now; it should be here tomorrow! I was starting to lose hope for getting the phone this week. :p
I'm located in Los Angeles county, and the phone is shipping from Ontario, CA.

This is good news for Socal. 5/19 ordered in San Diego. No notification yet, but I will not complain if I get "Surprised" by FedEx
 
Wow 12 days ahead seems a little much based on what I've seen on this thread.

That's 9 days before my ship by date. Hope it's true but I wouldn't hold your breath (haha i thought of that analogy before I read the last bit of your post where it said you were holding your breath.

FYI I just called and they said they ship up until 9:00pm from Lexington Ky and it will go tonight (tap tap tap) . They also do not require a signature and will just leave it at the door. :eek:

Wow that stinks man. I ordered it like 1145pm on the 1st, didnt get put in til like 9am on the 2nd, shortly after I received the "shipping soon" notification. Then about an hour after I got the email stating VW approved me for an acct, then the email from VW with the new #s, and about 1130am I got the shipped notification.

Last update puts my phone in the UPS facility 9.6 miles from my house. Im so close lol
