Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

Ordered 5/20 through Verizon on Line like the thread says (Not amazon)
posted ship date of 6/11
ship date 6/4
delivery date set for 6/8
ship from west Chester PA.
ship to New England
I don't have to worry about cancelling my order because I accepted what they promised, when I ordered , Don't expect more than that, whats fair is fair.

$99.00 one time fee no payments held for second order to bogus companies.

On second Thought I'm cancelling and heading over to BestBuy. LOL

You can confirm it all you like. It won't happen. I'm not trying to be mean, but if you ordered on 5/28 it will not ship on Monday, and the CSR has no way of confirming that it will. They are not notified ahead of time.
 
Does anyone know if I leave a note on my apartment door asking fedex to leave in front office with the staff that will sign for it whether they will do it or not

Nah. I tried to pick it up but the rep said that at least one delivery attempt has to be made before one can pick it up.
 
Verizon is definitely very cruel.. How dare they send my the monthly spotlight news letter when they know and I know they know. I am waiting for my DI shipping notification.

From previous posts that I have read, I believe that is Possible. You can go to the FedEx website and/or call them to make sure.

i stand corrected, could of sworn i read the phone got shipped from Canada then on to fed ex in Memphis. o well it will be weeks until i get mine anyway (ship date of june24)

You're spot on DD. Verizon requires and indirect sig., which means that if you are expecting your phone and you leave a signed note, that's good enough. Of course, that note means that you accept responsibility for the phone's being left at your door and if it's taken? It's your loss.

considering 5/20s only started shipping on Friday, you may have to wait till tuesday or so before getting an email. just stay calm and understand that everyone waited as long as you are now :-/

To get back OT it makes no difference to me wether or not you believe me and I know you ordered before me but Im sorry I don't know what to tell you, Call *611 and ask them to give you a status update that is simply what I did and the rep said that it is scheduled to be shipped out on Monday now maybe he was blowing smoke up my ass but after just getting off the phone with VZW again to get that date confirmed I can strongly say that I expect it Tuesday.

I ordered on 5/28 as well...I can only hope that they were being accurate and hopefully I can get mine that early as well (although not holding my breath). Let me know when you receive any email for the shipping info.
 
When I bought the phone I was told it would ship by 6/4. I called back a week later and I was told it would ship by 6/10. The fact that it shipped 6 days before the worst case ship by date is good news. For those who ordered after 5/20, your DInc is coming soon.

the ladies in the office will sign for it i'm just wondering if fedex will actually drop it in the office if i leave a note requesting that they do it

Update: Inc arrived at front door Friday morning on schedule. Took it to VZW store to set up and port contacts, etc., from my BB 8830. Very impressed with this phone. Hard to find something to whine about.

Never got an email but checked my order status online today and it has changed to this.

I didn't blank out the tracking number either, it's simply not there. I'll likely call CS and ask for it. Ultimately its not a huge deal though. I'm not terribly impatient. As long as I know its on its way and should be here Monday or Tuesday, I'm fine.

been following this thread to keep my sanity so I thought I would update you.

Ordered 5/20 online trough vw
Received shipping notification yesterday 6/4

I live in NJ, it shipped out of West Chester. It says overnight shipping but the scheduled delivery date is Monday.

It's ok though because I am in Houston on business and won't be back until Sunday night....though it would be nice to have Sunday night...oh well.

Hope everyone gets their phone soon!
 
This has probably already been answered, but is the way in ordering your phone different in shipping times between ordering through 611 or in store? I ordered mine just yesterday through 611 with a ship date of 6/25. Is that date guaranteed or is there a possibility i might get it later? Also (bear with me, lots of questions at once. At least i put periods!) When my order ships, will i get an email or just hear the fedex man knock on my door one day out of nowhere?
 
Ok...ive been lurking around this forum for awhile now. This is my first post..
I ordered My Dinc on Sat 22nd. was told it would get here around 11th-14
Now honestly ive seen alot of people get an email within 15 days...so this is my 15th day
if i dont get anything now then i guess maybe around monday/tuesday... i just hope i get it b4 Friday/Weekend... Cuz my job is really dull and i need a phone to watch stuff/make calls

Btw i already got all the stuff i need ...Case/Screen Protectors/ Bluetooth Headphones for music ... But idk if i should of ...cuz it says u need a jack for FM radio lolz

ok well...First off the date they give you is the latest you will get your phone... if your lucky you will get it earlier (as i am hoping to get mine) and yes you will most definitely get an email, And if you dont get an email i suggest calling up around 6/22 and asking them if your phone is being shipped ...thats the best i can give ya ...

If you ordered then and u get it on tuesday before I've ordered, 5/19, and yet to recieve any shipping information, as well as some others, i urge you please!! put a photocopy of our reciept on this forum, with personal information blacked out of course, but so i can print it, take it to verizon, and have myself a BI@#$ fest with them

obviously im not the owner or moderator of this forum or w.e. but if you guys are posting about recieving shipping inforamtion or getting the phone, would you mind putting the state in which you live on here. im just trying to see when its moving to central northern usa..... im in milw, WI and im seeing all these 5/20's gettin it....not the happiest camper to see that ha

FedEx has to attempt a delivery at least once. UPS has a "Hold for Pickup" option but I can't for the life of figure out how to do it. I tried calling but they are all off on the weekends. Mine is scheduled for Monday and I wanted to pick it up since I am at the ass end of the delivery route and they don't usually make it here until 6:00pm. By the time the office opens Monday it will already be out for delivery.:(

Anyone know how to do a Hold for Pickup with UPS on the weekends?

I am one of those people that had it changed. What I was told by the CSR is that it can be done, but it's a PITA so they don't like to do it. Well I am a PITA too and I insisted. When you tell me your going to ship it overnight, I expect it overnight. Ya know? My guess is that you got the CSR that just doesn't want to do it. My phone wasn't suppose to be here until Monday by 7, but I called and raised a stink about overnight and I got it yesterday. They are trying to bulldoze you.
