QIK back on the Android Market BUT......

What do you guys want to use Qik for? From (admittedly short) time I have played with it - it seems totally pointless.

how do you get fring to work? I installed fring on both my and my wife's Evo but when I try to call via skype out, it says to include the country code. I'm in the US so don't I just add the 1 in front of her cell #? Never made voip calls before.

you need to add each others Fring names. you should be able to work it after that

You can do that with Fring/skype.

i attempted a test stream on qik last night and it was not showing any video to the website.. so i had the same ting happen as others...

Ok I just uninstalled the blue quik and went back into the market from my phone and searched qik. I Seen only one option, which was Qik for HTC EVO 4. It comes up as an error while trying to download though

ok update everybody i restarted 2 to 3 times and got my update back agin

*UPDATE2* signing in errors alot tryin say connection to slow on wifi bs this app is messin up badly

*update 3* signed in an video calls are workin on 3g and wifi since nyc doesnt have 4g yet all of the features work tryin to test with aim/yahoo/gtalk cam apps and etc... jus to see if it will go and update to all non evo fone the video calls work but some times u might only see and hear ur self on ur evo

Quality suck on 3G and Wifi. Don't have 4G in my area but 4G is slower than my 20 megabit wifi connection.

My Qik is working. And the first option is Video chat, but I am the only one with an EVO.

Qik's version is nicer than fring. The video quality is better, not as choppy and less lag..

voice lag is about 1-2 seconds and the video is not bad..
