I ordered on 5/23 in store and received a shipping notice yesterday. Received the phone today.
My bf ordered on 5/24 in store and is hoping to get his tomorrow
He is new to verizon, so he did not get a shipping notification email.

Not sure if I got lucky but I was out all day and came back to the FedEx "we missed you" note on the front door. It's gotta be my incredible. I'm a 5/23 (ordered online) and wasn't expecting anything until the end of the week with 2 day shipping. I have no idea when I got a shipment notification because I am not the primary on my account (family plan). But I guess this is good news for anyone else that ordered on 5/23 or 5/24.

I ordered mine on like the 21st, and it's supposed to be here on the 11th...is that too late? I haven't even gotten a tracking number yet and it's like 10PM on the 9th.

It's called root. Allows you to be the "super user" like the sudo command in unix/linux. There's all kinds of info about it just do a search.

Are you awake at 12:25AM, checking forum threads for some glimmer of hope that your shipping date will finally be posted?
Has your life lost all meaning as you hang on each and every rumor of a mother lode of Incredibles that someone's [cousin/girlfriend/neighbor/wife's brother/buddy] - who happens to be a VZW rep at corporate headquarters - swears is going out tomorrow to all backorder customers?
As the posts slow to a trickle in these wee hours, be sure to check out the thread I started, Waiting for Dinc - In Haiku, and post your own!

So my online order status at VZW says "shipped" and I can track my shipment at Fedex. My shipping number is . I think a couple other folks have the same issue. My problem is that I have no email, and using the VZW order number as a reference number gives nothing at Fedex.com.
