I'm going to dinner tonight right next to the store. I'm probably going to go in now. On the upside... if you do it a bunch, that's just creepy enough to motivate them to put you at the top of the list.
Someone somewhere in Verizon has the ability to move a name up on that list. Do we have any geek-friends who might work in systems there?

I felt the same thing when mine arrived and I am refusing to pay it until my phone arrives. LOL
I ended up ordering an Eris for my wife as I waited for my DI to ship and I got the shipping notice for it as expected and BAM, 4 hours later, a second shipping notice!!!!!! WOOHOOOOOOOOOO....... wait, better check order numbers........... they are DIFFERENT!!!!!!!!........ SHAZAM!!!!!!!!!.......... so I go to track both of them....... SAME TRACKING NUMBER.....................

5/21 order here. Finally after talking to Verizon numerous times and impatiently watching this tread I have been promised that it will arrive today.
Shipping out of Memphis to Huntsville, AL
There is only one problem. I live in California. Its getting shipped to my parents house since taxes out here were gonna make it 60 or so dollars more expensive. At the time it seemed like such a good idea. So still a few more days for me. What was I thinking? I take a board exam on Saturday and was hoping that it would be here by then so I would have something fun to play with after all this miserable months of studying. Oh well hopefully they can get it out here by early next week.

I just wanna let you guys know I got my phone monday and never got a shipping notification. I just followed when other people were getting their phones with my same ship date and it happened to arrive right on time!
I ordered mine from a VZW Store on Friday May 21st* 19:09EDT and my ship by date was Friday June 11th. It was shipped Monday June 7th and it arrived Wednesday June 9th via FedEx. VZW customer support wasn't a lot of help other than giving me the ship by date until it shipped. Then they were able to give me the tracking number and track it for me. They didn't know it would ship Monday until after it had shipped.

Trouble Just Finds Me!
Ordered mine 5/31, today is 6/10 said shipped by 6/22 still havent got an email yet. I just checked to see when its backordered now till, said 7/8. Thats unreal. Looks like everyone is getting thiers pretty early so hopefully I get mine in the next 5 days
Wow! They're up to a month back order from just the 3 weeks - that's insane!!!! Glad I jumped up and ordered when I did - now I just have 2 more weeks of endless waiting and stalking the verizon store
Nice if you got yours on the 9th, I should be getting mine the 12th-ish. Since I ordered 3 days after you. Hopefully, I go on vaction on the 15th, so anytime before that would be great, or my neighbor will be having fun with it

Thanks, now I'll be check my email every 2 minutes. I am a 5/28 (AM) online with next day shipping. I was resigned to a ship date sometime next week but now I can dream of earlier!
I was down to once very 20 mins too.... time to call my sponsor!

Are you sure you went in on the 28th? By the 26th the in-store ship date was the 16th... so I don't know how some stores would have different ship dates.
Typing that was probably a waste of time though. He's gone to a better place. LOL.

I ordered mine on the 28th at around 8am processed same day with a ship by date of 6/18, Later on that day the ship by was bumped from 6/18 to 6/22 so I find it hard to believe your tale.
I never got a shipping notification. Last night, my status on the website was "processing." At 5:30 this morning, it was "shipped," but with a blank tracking number. I called CS and got my tracking number. Punched it into FedEx and found that it shipped yesterday morning.
Bottom line: Things may be happening, especially for the 5/24 and 5/25 folks who are waiting. Call *611 - your first clue is a pre-recorded message stating that their records show you have a phone that's awaiting activation. Ask the rep on the phone for an update on your order.
