Saddest movie you have ever seen?

Lurker
The movie "I am Legend" with Will Smith, when he kills his own dog with strangulation because it gets infected. Man I didn't cry, but it hit me HARD. I'm an animal lover and that was so hard to watch.
My boy friend was crying a river at the end of "Marley and Me"

What is yours? Please share.....

"Das Boot" comes to mind. That ending... It's like a punch in the gut. But what a great flick.

Saddest movie... Schindler's List. I cried so many times throughout the whole film. The ending was just heartbreaking. Nothing else really compares to it because it also has that history and realism behind it.

i dont remember the movie but there was a scene where the toast fell butter side down... gets me every time... :(

hahaha, jk, but one that was pretty damn sad was seven pounds, yeah i know, another will smith movie, that one was pretty sad.

not a movie, but futurama's "jurassic bark" wipes the floor with any movie (or other tv show ep) i've ever seen in that regard

That

But I do tear up at the end of The Fountain every time....both sad and beautiful

watched Remember Me with the wife two nights ago. While I really dont like the guy (Robert Pattinson i think, not sure on spelling and he isnt worth my time to google) and I made fun of him throughout the show the ending was pretty damn sad. cant really say anything without spoiling it but wow, sitting there watching it was and realizing the implication then seeing the end was like a punch to the stomach, yet humbling at the same time.

One day.. someone will agree with me that that movie was Hugh Jackman's worst performance of his career lol

no way, he played a spanish conquistador!!!

Has to be Schindlers List, Liam Neesons performance was spectacular from an acting perspective but the one reason nobody will be able to change my mind is that I cried uncontrollably for 2 hours solid with no way of restraining it, all done in front of my girlfriend of 2 weeks and so soon in you really don't want her thinking your an emotional wet lettuce. Luckily she's now my wife :D

I watched "Up" recently. I expected a nice fun sweet movie, rented it to watch with my nieces, but that ended up not happening so I watched it alone before the rental expired.

A big part of the story was this young couple meeting as kids, growing up together, and what they didn't get to do during their life. Gawd, I cried and cried.

...this was a few days prior to telling my wife (whom I've been with for half my life that I wanted a divorce. :(:(:(
