Behold II source code is up!

Got a PM back:

When I enter the code it says "unable to process request"

Odd, unless he forgot one of the #'s. I asked him to install terminal and cat the CSCVersion.txt file. Not sure if he'll do it tho as he says he's selling the phone :-/

it seems tmo have kept a keen eye on the android community and do not want us finding out any info about the device.
idiots that will probably make it less desirable

when will they learn

This source actually contains an updated touchscreen driver. Doesn't seem to change anything to the lack of multitouch support, but it does allow the flashing of a different firmware to the touchscreen. It also contains a binary for the touchscreen for both the i7500 and the Beholden.

This means the screen may very well be able to support multitouch - with a different touchscreen firmware.

Anyone fancy trying to flash this firmware to their phone and see if it reports more than one finger? :)

Yeah i noticed the same thing. Havnt tried flashing it tho. The kernel is a bit of a mess, and looks like a work in progress. I think i'll wait untill the final firmware is out and look through that.

Yes drakaz will release it soon. We found a way to increase the RAM by 10mb by sacrificing the GPU1 which is responsible for 3d graphics.

Is drakaz going to release this as an updated Galaxo/GalaxHero build, or a stand-alone effort?

And, secondly - this Behold2 firmware that's meant to have such good camera software - is anyone looking into extracting the camera software and making it available?

Just wondering... :D

the behold people are yet to root their phones or give up this software it seems

although galax0 recovery v 4.2 i think will probably work on those phones fine

i want that camera

Bah! A pox upon them! :D

C'mon guys - share and share alike! We want the shiny camera software too, as the stock Galaxy camera software is, well, frankly, a bit crap!
