Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

No apologies needed. We're a friendly bunch here - even our resident lurkers (some of which already have their phones but we love them so we don't complain that they're still around - you know who you are!)
 
I'm a 6/6'er - also to be shipped by 6/28 - and I know that some will come earlier based on the area you're in - there are so many people cancelling their orders therefore moving us up in the ranks! Ugh so impatient...

then moved me to 6/28
ordered in store Peoria IL
i called back today and they sead no faster then 6/28 WTF

I honestly think both dates they gave you are wrong. I ordered 5/31 and the date at that time was 6/22, not 6/15. So the 6/15 date is off. As far as the 6/28 date they gave could only be if they forgot to process your order for a few days.
 
Task killers hurt you more than they help you with this type of device. You have to let the Windows Mobile way of thinking go.

The kernel knows how to manage memory. If you want a good app to monitor usage grab SystemPanel. Lite version is decent but the paid version is well worth the $2.99.

I've been able to confirm all of this from playing with several co-workers EVOs.
 
well i ordered 5/31 and was promised a shipping date of 6/17. I called today and they said fedex hasn't picked up the orders yet, but if it doesn't ship out today then it'll ship the 21st.

not really happy, but i guess im used to waiting at this point
 
1. Admitted we were powerless over when our DIncs would arrive and our lives had become unmanageable waiting for it.
2. Came to believe a power greater than ourselves, VZW, would send our Dincs by the "ship by" date
3. Turned our will and the arrival of our Dincs to VWZ, as we believed it would ship by.
4. Made a searching, fearless and frequent inventory of our email inbox.
5. Admitted to VZW, to ourselves and to other forum members the exact day we ordered, how we ordered and where we ordered from
6. Were entirely ready to have our Dincs arrive.
7. Humbly begged VZW to ship our Dincs early.
8. Made a list of all CSRs we wanted to punch in the face.
9. Made direct amends to all CSRs we punched in the face.
10. Continued to check our emails and when empty promptly refresh.
11. Sought through CSRs, verizon online, "fedex tricks" to improve our conscious contact w/ VZW seeking only for the knowledge of when our Dincs are shipped and what time they will be here.
12. Having had a spiritual experience as a result of a knock from Fedex, we so carried hope and encouragement to newbies in this forum that its allllll worth it.

Ordered in-store on 5/29, I called two times in the past two weeks to check shipment, they kept saying it hadn't shipped. I checked email multiple times a day to no avail.

Last night, I tried the FedEx trick around midnight, and there was no evidence of shipment, and still no email from Verizon.

At 9:15 A.M. my doorbell rings, and there is the FedEx man with my phone.

Upon opening it, the order/tracking number was the same as the one I tried entering using the FedEx trick (meaning the trick indeed works) just 9 hours previous to receiving the phone.

Apparently, they never even gave me shipping confirmation, meaning an order that had been shipped speedily overnight could have easily been lost, and I would have had no way to prove that I never received it!

Shady on VZW's part, but loving this phone! Had some reception issues, but *228 for the second time seemed to clear that up.

So I have been cruising this forum every day (no joke) since May 31st. At first I was told the 16th of June and promised by not one, not two, but Three people at the local store that my phone would arrive on the 18th of June. Looking at my watch and my email, NO notification. I called CS today and the said that things have changed an that my phone will be here before it is supposed to... Well that would be today, but this CSR say that is seven days from now. Any other people in Northern Ca that orderes instore have this problem? Like others everytime Fedex drives by my pulse races TO NO AVAIL !!! I need some supportive reassurance.....:(:mad:

so i have been lurking this forum for a while.
ordered 6/3 with no update beside the first time i was told it'd be here by 6/23.

the guy i ordered with told me he gave us (my gf and i) overnight shipping.
but now that i look at the receipts it says SEDFEDEX001 SED SHIPPING 0; what does that mean?

also my gf and i both ordered the phones, will they both come together in one package or separate?

thanks in advance, been waiting impatiently.
 
Been watching this site for a week in anticipation of this great arrival. Ordered in store on May 30th, was initially told June 18th. I contacted the specific rep. through email and she very politley told me that the date had been pushed back to June 21st. I was a little peeved to say the least. She said "come see me when you get them and I will take care of you." hopefully tha meant she would hook something up. It showed up today!!! Hallelujah!

Ordered: 5/30 (in store)
Promised shipped date: 6/18 - 6/21
Recieved: 6/17
Location: Richmond ,Va

I hope this gives some of you some hope....just hold on a little longer.

They've just had their titles changed from lurkers to GLOATERS!!! lol

Don't worry, this hostility is only because I'm jealous.

I'm actually waiting for TWO Dincs. One for me and one for my wife, so it's twice the agony in this horrible waiting game. :(
 
This whole thing is so painful.

Would it be wrong of me to hug the FedEx guy??? It might be a little wierd if I start crying. lol :p
