Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

Geez, can you believe that waiting until the 28th has felt like an eternity but now we're praying that it's our best hope for an actual shipping date?? :confused: Right now it looks a lot better than pushing it back into July.
 
bleh wow thts really dumb.. i dont like big phones and i dont like motorola so im not trading in my DINC SO GIVE IT TO ME ALREADY =.=

i was promised today.. nothin.. zip... the verizion lady said it would ship today but reading other posts it looks like i wont get it this week bc of the moto x or w.e.... =.=....... but its kinda good cuz i wont be back from vacation until the 29th so if it ships on the 30th ill be happy.... but if it ships july 17th.... somebody is gona get a hurt reall bad xD
 
this is sooo bogus. i ordered mines 6/3 and it was supposed to ship 6/24 but by the looks of it, it could be later...
i have friends that randomly were able to get the INC at best buy and friends getting the iphone in 2 days.
and i'm still here using my LG Dare. please just have a mass shipping of our INC'S!!
 
I'm going to hope for shipments going out today and tomorrow. Yes, the trend was that things were shipping 2 and 3 days prior to the promised ship date, BUT then we ran into a holiday weekend where orders from sat, sun and mon would have been pushed to that tues - that's got to be a HUGE amount of orders for 6/22 ship.
(I'm trying to be optimistic here and not slam by head against the wall or desk from frustration!)

It seems shipping notifications are going out in the evening on the day it ships, so it may still be shipping today, I dunno.

I do not buy into the crap that they are holding shipment of the Inc because of the release of the Droid X. This is just all speculation. I have a 6/3 order date with a 6/24 ship by date and a 6/25 Delivery date. There are so many people waiting on the shipment of their phones there is no way that Verizon is going to hold shipment. If you order an Incredible online or in a store TODAY your shipment will ship on JULY 17th.
 
I ordered 4 processed 6/1. Just got off phone w/ CSR rep and after the run around it looks like somene may have dropped the ball on @least 1 of my orders. First she tried to tell me they would ship 6/26...which is a saturday-guess she didn't look @ the calendar...she slipped in words like "incomplete" and "voided"...after I gave her a confirmation #, she said she would have to call me back...

I'm about to need to speak to someone in retention, and free shit....can any one say iPhone4??? All 4 lines up for renewal!!! Start kissing my ass...

Ok, there is clearly some confusion it seems with some of these csr's. 7/20 is the ship by date posted on Verizon's site right now if you ordered the phone today. That may be where verizon csr's are getting these dates from. they are either misunderstanding you and the other poster from Peoria, IL that was told the same thing (his name escapes me) or they are more incompetent than we think they are. At least I hope that's the case.

i called 3 different times with different people and they all sead all the same things
 
I've been checking this forum for days now, so I should put in my dates.

New Verizon customer switching from the iPhone.
Ordered: 6/6/2010
Shipping by: 6/28/2010
Region: Midwest

Due to some difficulties with my order I've spoken to 4 different CSRs who confirmed that it will ship on or by 6/28/2010.

Last CSR gave me a Location Number and ACE Number. Don't know how either will benefit me, but that was supposed to assure me that my order was OK and processed.
 
Well I ordered mine on May 28th and was backed order till June 22. I received a confirmation notice on Friday that my IncDriod had shipped. It got here yesterday June 21.

They shipped it Friday, it was here Saturday but Fedex doesnt work that day so I had to wait. It was sooo worth the almost month wait without a phone.
 
ok so i got a call today from Verizon the vary first lady i talked to yesterday she left a message on my phone saying how sorry she was with the date she gave me she must have liked me because she has been messing with my account for two days now saying that something wasn't right she told me everyone that ordered on 6/1 there phone will ship out today

not to be a smart ass - but we told you that was probably the case and that the CSR's (in general) have NO IDEA. I'm very happy that your phone will ship today - mostly cause it means the rest of us are slowly making our way to the front of the shipping line.

Verizon is stopping shipments of the incredible until after the release tomorrow of the Moto X to avoid people trading in their DINCS. Many people who were expecting shipment this week are now being told 7/19 which also happens to be the anticipated release date for the Moto X and possibly Droid 2.

I am waiting to hear the tech specs on the X and will most likely be canceling my DINC ordered on 6/3 (no news on shipping)

I am paying and early termination from AT&T and must say that verizon is so far very disappointing...

I called today and the scheduled delivery has not changed, ordered 6-7 will ship by 6-28. I was not told 7/19.
If you cancel you will have to wait for delivery to return it anyway. You have already paid for the phone. The only way out would be to check with your credit card company. Most cards do no allow vendors to bill for payment until item is shipped (Verizon has ignored this). If this is the case with your credit card company you can call Verizon and tell them they have violated the terms of your credit card and they have to refund your purchase. Otherwise you have to wait.

Hypothetically speaking...if there were 3500 orders for 6/1 and only 1200 since then and they got a shipment of 5000 it would mean that a lot of us will get them not one day earlier but a few weeks, maybe even get lucky and get them this week!!!!!!!!:D

Realistically speaking...your probably right.:(

Are people dropping off this thread when they receive their phone (probably). However the amount of confirmations has been limited in this forum. Anyone who receives confirmations...please, please post your order/confirm/ship/receive dates. This will help the sanity of all the posters still on this thread (including mine!).:D

Unless you ordered online, in the terms and conditions it states that regardless of shipping, payment will be taken immediatly following order submission. Then verizon has 30 days to ship your item before you can do anything with your credit card co. Also makes a difference that they were posting shipping estimate dates. You have to wait until then to dispute if it is past the origional 30 days.

I believe most people head over to the Tips & Tricks thread once they've received their phones, although there have been a few that stuck around and kept us company! :)
