My brother is a sales rep. for Verizon and he has told me numerous times not to get an anti-virus app for my 2.2 Thunderbolt because he claims Androids can't get viruses and that the anti-virus apps may just brick my phone and become inoperable all together. But other reliable sources recommend...

Has anyone noticed an increase in their Tbolt's battery life with the latest update? I have yet to update mine but I heard a rumor that battery life has been improved; can anyone confirm this or give a source?

I know this was mentioned before but there was no solution to the problem. Since last Thursday every time I check for new software available I get the traditional message stating it's checking for new software available; but instead of saying "no new software found" the message just disappears...
