I'm looking to replace my Desire with the One-X. I've got the official HTC car charger and was wondering if this would work with the One-X. I am assumin the one-x has the same micro-usb connector as the Desire but I'm not that clued up on these things.

I've just returned from France where I have been using my Desire primarily for Satnav. Whilst over there, I noticed that the physical buttons on my Desire have become veryu sluggish, sometimes you have to hold them in for a good few seconds to become responsive.

I want to use Google Navigation abroad but I am not planning on using my 3G whilst abroad. I know Maps 5 allows for offline routing but I understand this is only cached from your popular routes.
Is there any way of using Navigation abroad without the need to use the data connection?
I used Google Navigation today for the first time in a few months and the first thing I noticed was that I was zoomed out far too much for my liking. I can't for the life of me work out how to zoom the screen in whilst still keeping the route active. I can zoom into an individual part of the map...
Has anyone purchased the official HTC Desire car kit (reference on the HTC website is CU S420)? If so, does the charger actually charge up the phone or just prolong the time it takes for the battery to drain like all of the unbranded chargers seem to do?
