Using Navigation abroad

I want to use Google Navigation abroad but I am not planning on using my 3G whilst abroad. I know Maps 5 allows for offline routing but I understand this is only cached from your popular routes.

Is there any way of using Navigation abroad without the need to use the data connection?

Have a look at
- CoPilot
- NAVIGON
- Sygic

The apps have their maps on the SD card and don't need a data connection.

I recommend CoPilot. It's a really good programme, works flawlessly everytime and easily as good as a normal sat nav.

i'd recommend sygic aura. recently updated for Android and a nice bit of software.
