I want to root my HTC evo but the usb port on my phone is broken. I have to charge my batteries via an external charger. Is there still a way for me to root my phone?

Am I the only one that feels all these instructions to "nandroid first" for everything you do a little too much? I only have one nandroid and that's the very first nandroid I did once i obtained root. i have also saved this file on my computer. If anything ever goes wrong I figured why not just...
Long story short: I dropped my gf's phone and now her SD card is not working. The phone says the SD card is unmounted. I took out the sd card and put it back it and still shows unmounted. I went into settings and hit mount and still nothing. I tried formatting but it wont because it says there's...
I just rooted my phone last night using revolutionary and while creating a backup it said my sd card was full and couldn't complete. I deleted and cleared data on spotify and deleted all my music which free'd up about 3 gb. I have no videos and about 20 pictures on phone, but my sd memory card...
I just received my evo 3d from amazon yesterday and it's telling me this morning there is an update available. Does anyone know what comes in this update and whether i should do it or not? I do want to root my phone. Please let me know guys thanks!
I want to thank everyone on these boards for the MASSIVE support, help, and advice i've received over the last year here. I've learned so much about my evo and would have never done it without you guys. I flashed an AOSP Rom the other day and fell in love and decided to go out and buy the Nexus...
If I give my rooted phone to someone running sprint lovers rom can they upgrade their software to gingerbread when it's released? They don't mind lossing root they just want to be able to upgrade to gingerbread when it's released.
Hi guys,
I've been going back and forth between buying the new EVO 3D or the Nexus S 4g. I currently have the Evo and love it and sense. Well although I never thought about going with nexus, I just flashed my first AOSP and so far I love it. Now, especially since sprint is holding off on...
I don't have 4g in my area so don't care for it at the moment. I'd like everything else working on it though. can you guys recommend a good AOSP ROM? I apologize I have to ask but i never thought i'd flash an AOSP rom and yet here I am . :o
Sorry Sprint, but you guys suck at these types of things. I've already lost interest in the EVO 3D. I'm going to see what other phones are coming in the next couple of months. My contract is up so I will explore my options. Sprint needs a new marketing team.
Running virus b3 fine for about a week and I'm having a problem that's totally user fault :(
I wanted to flash gtal 1.3 so I wiped cache, cach/davlik, and flashed the zip. The first problem I had was with missing apps. All my 3rd party apps were no longer on my phone. I went into TB and...
Im leaning towards updating to the EVO 3D when it comes out. But i have two brand new extending batteries from Sprint that are still in the plastic. Does anyone know if the 3d and original evo will have the same batteries?
I'm looking for a new rom and want one with a newer sense. Im thinking about the evo 3d and want a taste of the new sense. I seen a port of the HTC sensation with sense 3.0 but it was too slow and buggy. What ROM/Kernal should I flash for Gingerbread and newest version of sense?
