Hey all, been happy with VR12 but im bored today and want to play around..lol...what would be the next logical update from VR12? There are quite a few ROMS out now that catch my eye like: Floyo 1.1.9 FroydVillain 1.6.1 Froyo 2.2 SE RCMix 2.2b just wanted to get some experts opinion on the diff...

put on villain12....now cant send or recieve picture texts...happens everytime i put a new rom on...everything else works...im with telus...starting to think that this flashing roms just isnt worth it....any ideas telus peeps? *edit* damn! just fixed it.... so in the apn settings it needed to...

doesnt matter what ROM i put on, settings, anything...IT JUST WILL NOT WORK anymore...i will have to send it into telus for them to fix it...i dunno...so frustrated @ this point. everything works but mms....:(

I just cant get the MMS to work with the new villain 6.0, even with the fix that was posted in the ROM post. I constantly MMS message, and with it not working i am going to have to go back to the original ROM that this came with. Im with Telus, and i have been searching for the last hour on...

So, if i ever wanted to go back to the orginal ROM i had out of the box, where exactly would i find it? just in case i ever have to send the phone back for work or something.

should i jump ship to villain6? what are the pros and cons? no gps on either i take it though right? also, what app would i use to backup my apps and contacts?

I had to make a goldcard to root my phone, installed slidevillain and all is very well. Now, do i have to keep this same sd card in my phone now that the rooting deed is done? or can upgrade? its only the 2gb og card that came with the unit and i need a bigger one for mp3s.

I have found that my service isnt quite what it used to be upon rooting and putting on slidevillain. I updated the phone with the newest radio patch as per instructions, but it still seems not too great. I used to have full service at home, but now seem to have a quarter of what it once...

Should i root this phone so that i can install the 2.1 update? If so which walkthrough do i use? I basically only want to do so because i heard the xm app released this month will only support 2.1. Can anyone lend some feedback?
