Hey, i was reading your guide and thinking about rooting my phone but i have some questions. im new to all this so is it possible to unroot my phone if i needed to send it out for repairs or send it back for a replacement? I dont wanna root it and have probs with it later and have to send it out to be repaired or replaced and get screwed. any help here would be appreciated thanks!

Hi Ocn, I'm thinking of an upgrade to Evo 3D, but I need to ask you some questions as I believe you also have one. I know that to root it will only unlocked the device, not to give s-off. Will I find some difficulties compared to Evo 4G?
And what about life after root (ROMs, kernels, etc)?

Hi Ocnbrze, i've check out some of your tips on here & you seem to be the go to person! I am wondering how to unroot my htc EVO 4G. I've Google'd this yet find so many conflicting methods (at least that's what it seems like to me) I am a yahoo, so I may have deleted my nandroid backups. I used Revolutionary to root and have Clockwork Recovery installed. If you are so inclined to offer advice, thank you so much!!

Hi OCN Im trying to link the stock RUU.exe to wishingtoroots thread and all the links i can find are dead. Was wondering if you ad a link you could post for him when u get a chance he is stuck with s on and stock recovery but h boot 6.17 and needs to re root. You helpedd me before with my EVO 4G and I wanted to ask a question about Titanium backup. I scrweed up my rom last week. I ran the update from Sprint for teh PRL and the something else. Anyway I want to flash the latest Mikg rom which I think is 3.0. I noticed some of my apps went away when I screwed up. However if I do a search for the files like say for "Vlingo" the files for the app are on the phone. I also did a complete copy of all the files on the phone to the pc. Is there a way to find all my apps from the backup of the phone files?

Hey Ocnbrze,

you helped me a zillion times with the Evo in the forums. I was looking to purchase the Evo 3D. I know you made the switch. Just wanted to know if you have any regrets. They're selling it for $49.99 with new contact. Today the 7th is the deadline. I was going to give my daughter my Evo and give the 3D a shot. Just wanted to know your thoughts. I know your usually dead on with your info and I trust your opinion.

Hey ocn! I flashed MikG last night and was wondering if you knew of any good kernels for battery usage like I had with Tiamat? I know Tiamat is only for AOSP ROMs so I can't use it for Sense like MikG. thanks!

You are right I have TOO MANY sms. So im working with that now. regarding the apps I have used 91% of the internal memory, but almost everithing its on the sd card. I dont understand why Im still getting this message. Thanks
