If you root your Note 10.1 will you be able to install Jelly Bean 4.3 on it and will everything work OK? I ask because it is increasingly apparent that Samsung have little intention of releasing the JB 4.3 update for the Note 10.1 preferring to support the Note 10.1 2014.

I'm using the native Email application on my Note 10.1 for my Gmail account however despite having the the appropriate check boxes ticked when an email arrives there is no sound notification. See attached images. If anyone knows how to fix this I'd be very grateful. Thanks
