I've been trying to do this since day 1 with this phone. At work I'm in a spot where I get 2 bars of 4G and it reverts back to 3G. This happens all day even after the update. Is there a way to turn on LTE only like you can turn on CMDA only? I could do this with my Tbolt and the 4G signal...

I figured we'd have at least 2 by now because I thought it wouldn't have to pass Verizons' b.s. tests to get them. I've only received one update since I got the phone and that was the day I purchased it (launch). Would be nice to get a better battery life and maybe a bit of a better signal.

I'm about to make the switch today but only if I'm able to force 4G on the Rezound. I can't do this on the Nexus and I work in not a great 4G area so my phone always reverts back to 3G so unless I can force 4G I'm stuck not watching my Slingbox. Is there a way to force 4G on the Rezound?

I haven't rooted my GNex yet but was wondering that if I do could I force 4G?

I'm still holding out hope to be able to do this. Using my sling box sucks on 3G. I get 1 bar of 4G and then I lose it immediately. Anybody hear of an app yet?

I'm highly Disappointed with this phones radio. Going to return it tomorrow. My Thunderbolt always kept a 4G connection and I have yet to see it on the Nexus. Any recommendations. I heard the Rezound's radio was decent.

On my Thunderbolt I downloaded 4G switch. This enabled me to force 4g when in the middle of a 4G and 3G area and the phone would go to 3G unless I had LTE only checked. I downloaded this app for the Nexus just now and that option isn't available. Sucks because Slingplayer only seems to work...
