Force 4G only with 4.0.4?

I've been trying to do this since day 1 with this phone. At work I'm in a spot where I get 2 bars of 4G and it reverts back to 3G. This happens all day even after the update. Is there a way to turn on LTE only like you can turn on CMDA only? I could do this with my Tbolt and the 4G signal would hold all day here.

Just trying to use my slingplayer app for slingbox and with the phone constantly switching the video constantly pauses.

A quick search on the internet seems to say this is not possible.

Even going into the *#*#4636#*#* menu doesn't have an option for LTE only. Sorry.

Yeah, I've searched and searched the internet for this ability with the old software and new. Wish I would have kept the Tbolt, but oh well. Lesson learned. Other than not being able to use my phone for what I would use it for the most, it's a decent phone. Sucks the update also made using the phone portion of it useless too. Drop calls and choppy audio.

4 more months until I can take my wife's upgrade and toss this thing.

Well I don't have any of those issues with dropped calls and one-way audio personally. Have you considered trying to get a replacement from Verizon? Especially if you are still dealing with them after the update that was supposed to improve them.

That's my problem I never had problems with making calls until after the update. My reception at work was never great but I could clearly hear the caller talking to me. Seems now it's really choppy and after 5 mins or so drops.
