Root [Sprint] LG G2 Stuck in fastboot mode. PLEASE HELP!

Hi, I'm not very knowledgeable in computers so am being punished for thinking I knew what I was doing. Please help!

So I think my main problem is that I can't get into recovery mode. Every time I try turn my phone on it goes to fastboot, even if I try to hold down power and volume. I am able to get to download mode, but after a second it changed to the Firmware Update screen, where nothing happens until I turn the phone off. Because of this, I have two options, just go into fastboot, or look at a firmware update screen that is doing nothing.

FYI, I have no trouble using fastboot through my windows computer, so I guess that is good, but what I do seems to have no impact on my phone. I downloaded TWRP with a recovery.img file, but when I restarted my phone it made no difference. Also, I turned off root today through the SuperSU, would this be a reason for the issues I am having?

If you have the firmware update screen in download mode that is a good thing. It won't do anything until you try to flash a tot with LG Flash Tools or a kdz with the hacked kdz flash tool. You can find them both here:

Depending on which variant you own (especially 32 GB D802), you may want to verify your model by removing the rear cover from the phone so you know what to flash. Since this thread was originally dedicated to the Sprint LS980, I will assume you own that. And if you purchased through a brick and mortar store of repute, you can ignore that step and move along with confidence.

I do have the Sprint LS980. Which flash do you recommend for someone inexperienced, TOT or the KDZ?

Being Sprint, I believe you will find that tot is your only option as only tot files exist for them. It's slightly more difficult than the kdz method but the flashing software provides more information to the end user so if there are troubles with the flash, you can get answers as to why. For that reason, and because I think LG Flash Tools is a more stable software, tot is my preferred method.

Dude I can't thank you enough for helping me with this. It took some trial and error, but I figured it outand my phone is back to stock. I'm going through the updates to get caught up to Lollipop and ZVI. You saved me a couple hundred dollars on buying a new phone, thanks again!

very good for all Hello, I'm pretty worried because I got my D800 in fastboot mode adb commands and remain in "erasing" or "writing".
I see you mention that AT & T has some tools for these cases, if not misunderstood, I'd appreciate me infinitely if you indicate where to find and how to use them, as if you could suggest some other solution.

I was never in such an ugly brick, at most I have settled with .tot, but now all that answers me is the power button and pricipio begins to enter download and passed fsatboot, or also to the recovery (which it is seen to be the LP) but after giving in "Erase all user ..." will fastboot.

Appreciate your help is that they can save me !!!

i used D80230d_00.kdz (lolipop 5.0.2) and i have stuck in fastboot

i try fastboot aboot laf and boot img i us file from there http://downloads.codefi.re/autoprime/LG/LG_G2/D802/Stock_Firmware/10b_EUR_16G_partitions
when i try to boot into download mode it shows a screen with a blue square saying download mode then it switches to fastboot....
i do this and now i on fastboot mode

It won't go to download mode (fastboot bulls**t appears at the same time).
It goes to recovery mode but it's useless (I tried hard reset, load into safe mode - fastboot appears).
I can't charge the battery because of it...
Fastboot sees the device, but any command doesn't work (FAILED: unknown command).
I downloaded kdz, extract laf.bin, renamed it to laf.img and try to flash it by command "fastboot flash laf laf.img" - same error (FAILED: unknown command).
It even doesn't respond to
"fastboot reboot".
Please help me...

if you really want to revive this ancient relic, then can you please post the output of your fastboot command? and you say that fastboot sees the phone, so just to be sure when you type "fasboot devices", you get a bunch of numbers, correct?

also post all of the outputs from the fastboot commands that you have tried.
