Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

Milo, over the years I've lost over 150 pounds and am now at the weight that my doctor had set for me some years ago. One thing that I just have to have sugar, real sugar, in is iced tea. I've just about dropped it from my coffee these days.
That is what one of my doctors wanted me to be at though.. I have dropping so much sh!t almost to a point of loose stools, and just need one ounce for the colonguard, problem is..

Ultimately I hate spending time to get ready for something like within a few hours though.
Ironically my appt today,my audiologist should not take more then a few minutes.

When you go to bed and it says your Amazon package will arrive tomorrow, but you wake up and now it says next Thursday...

I bought a new to me used truck last weekend. I had to replace the truck I had because it was totaled. I like the truck but it only came with one key and one fob. The way I lose track of things, one will never do. I'm on a quest today to find a GMC dealership that can clone a fob and key. I understand that this is an expensive undertaking so I'm starting my rant now. :)

Try and find one on eBay or Amazon and program it yourself.

So this morning out of desperation I bought this at a truck stop $30o_O. About thirty minutes later I arrived at the place I was going to get fuel and I went Inside to use the rest room I walk by the electronic section and saw a four slot one for $20:mad::maddroid:
About ten minutes ago I saw another four slot one for $15 :maddroid::maskeddroid:

I hate car shopping!
The last time we went car shopping our daughter was the one who picked out the car we ended up getting. It was a 2015 with less than 80k in miles. I am assuming that the previous owner or owners only drove it locally or never it drove it further than a few hundred miles. The kid like it because it had a third row seat, which is nice when family comes to visit

In other news of gear grinding, how come most people, well teenagers tend to only rethink on how they act in rest areas, and having to stand when eating? I hate that. You lose food and your energy when standing does not make you look cool, please just sit down and eat.

This has not been a good week :thumbsdowndroid::maddroid::maskeddroid: it's been a week of one problem after another and too say I've been in a foul mood is putting it mildly. But then I saw @MoodyBlues had returned and that seriously turned things around :D;):thumbsupdroid:

Currently my sister does not believe by reading the internet, "you cannot eat this stuff.." well my dear sis, I could not hear over what my mother was speaking through my doctors own voice, the assisstance either, so I did not knew what she said.
I hate speaker phones.

The two clocks that I anticipated auto correcting the time back to standard time let me down. My new weather station has a setting for DST and a DST always. I wrongly chose DST when setting it up. The other was my replacement atomic clock. I had failed to tick the auto correct the time. Both devices would have done their thing if I had correctly configured them. So I had to set them along with all of the other clocks in the house. I hate daylight savings time! It's ignorant IMO.

I set the clock on the stove, I never set the microwave - it just shows 00:00 and I'm OK with that. The thermostat has a clock but I can't really see it so don't care what it's says. I don't have any cable/TV/DVR boxes so I'm good there. No matter what I set the car for it ends up being wrong anyway so I ignore that, that's what Android Auto is for.
My watch makes me crazy though. It has a second hand. There are some things in life I am OCD/neurotic about and my watch is the bane of my timekeeping existence. It doesn't line up with all the minute marks. Some get hit exactly right and some are either hit before or after the tick of the hand. It keeps good time and the minute hands line up and move correctly but damn that second hand... It takes me a bit to line both hands up and to pull then push the crown at the right time only to have it not line up on all the marks. Gah!
It's a cheap Timex and has a decently loud ticking sound which I like. I won't use digital nor will I spend a lot of money on a good watch, I'll just live my days in timekeeping hell :D

I'm OCD about time. I can't stand the time to be incorrect. I like digital that is spot on. My atomic clock and weather station are both in view of my desk chair. One gets it's time from Boulder Co. and the other from the net. They are always very accurate but are seconds from being synchronized. It really bugs me. I have a very nice Seiko dress watch. I loved it's looks, bought it, and have disliked it since. It has a large sweeping hand that I knew had to be the second hand but it's not. It is the timer hand and has nothing to do with the time. It just sits, waiting to be put into action, and gives the distinct impression the watch is not running. I very rarely wear it for that very reason.

My father bought, sold, traded, and collected early American made clocks. I grew up with a house full of ticking and chiming. They never agreed on the time and the chiming often went on for five minutes when he was working on a few of them. I inherited half of his collection on his passing and I do not run any of them. I love the ticking but not so for my wife.
