When I connect my phone to kies it says "Your device does not support updating via kies. I used to be able to check for updates via kies but now it says I can't. I am running stock telus rom not rooted. Does anyone else with the telus version have this problem?

I tried to root with the tools in the root section. I got the bootloader unlocked and then I clicked the flash kernel button and now the phone is stuck on the htc logo when I turn it on. It's my first time trying to root so please go easy on me.

I went and upgraded my phone and got the samsung galaxy s2x which is an awesome powerful phone but I still miss my DHD and I really miss sense and the customization that comes with it. My wife has my DHD now so I still get visitation rights.

How can I stop my phone from automatically connecting to open wifi networks. I was at my friends house the other day and I looked at my phone and it was connected to someones open wifi. I really don't want my info being transmitted through random peoples networks.

So today I figured out how to record a call with the desire hd. All you have to do is download the Quick record widget from the htc hub and place it on one of your home screens, and when you are in a call just hit the quick record widget and it will record your call.
