    Root Gingerbread on desire

    Hey. I'm planning to root my phone and install 2.3 gingerbread OS. Is it possible for me to install 2.3 gingerbread with htc sense? HTC announced that there will not be any 2.3 upgrades for htc desire? Is this just for people that don't root their phone to install 2.3 OS? Thanks ;)
