Is there anyway to change the statusbar the the classic white version? Like the one in 2.1 and 2.2?

Hope there are actually people here to look at this lol. But yea my battery drops very quick when using the device, I know its probabily due to the device and its specs but is there any way to improve the overall battery life?

So apperantly there is a theme choose from t mobile. Where is it on the phone? My phone is rooted and I want to change the look of my status bar. So how would I find this embedded theme Chooser?
