htc droid incredible 4g

Bought the new HTC Droid Incredible 4g yesterday...yesterday if I received a facebook notification or email it would pop up on the respective shortcut on the home screen and the status bar. Today it only shows up on the status bar at the top of the phone. How do I switch it so I don't have to...

It seems that my wifi is sleeping even though I have it set not to. After a few minutes of my screen being off, I do not get emails, WhatsApp messages, etc. As soon as I hit the power button to bring the screen back on, though, they all immediately come in. Anyone else see this or have any ideas?

Anyone else see this on their calculator? The numerals are so big they outsize their space. Wierd. :p
