Root [1-21-13][ROM] CM10.1 for the evoLTE!!

I'm having a problem with imo flashing my lock screen open to display a received message the closing when I tap it and not unlocking via power button. I had to enable rocker wake since I couldn't find keep screen on, ect. Never had this until this build (20120918) or on stock.
 
So that really only applies to the International GS3 with the Quadcore?

The biggest thing I took away from it was that Sony and Qualcomm released Kernel code before the phone was out and yet HTC still sits on Kernel code.

Glad to hear! The one complaint I have with switching over from Sense to this ROM is the battery life is a bit worse -- although the tradeoff is something I'd gladly make. Great to hear that it's better in the newer builds.

Going to try to update to the latest nightly tonight. I'm running 9/15 right now and it's been working fabulously as a daily driver.
 
I enjoyed CM for a while but I'm going to wait till its a little more polished.
Some problems I found throught many of different builds and the asop kernels:
I had random data issues, volumes through speaker and Bluetooth were just too low,
Random reboots, wiFi refused to work sometimes, camera would reset the phone, Bluetooth was very touch n go
(I used Bluetooth in my truck everyday and this is the biggest prob)

I find CleanRom DE and the Ezoch kernel gives me the battery life and experience I need with some sense spiffs that Aosp lacks.

I know these are nightlies and WIP .. I'm just sharing my experiences. I know what causes these problems and most of the fixes but I just don't have the time to dedicate like I used to love to give. Kids, women, work, and College & NFL Football have my schedule now.
 
I can't seem to get the 10/10/12 build to connect to Wi-Fi. Both the Unofficial and Nightly won't connect for me. I just noticed my camera doesn't work at all either. Couple big huge deal breakers for me. I loved CM10, but I'll have to come back when these things are worked out.
 
Decks making loads of changes to the radios over the past week or so. Give home some time to get to smoothed out. I had to switch back to sense this week

10/10 should also be 4.1.2 so make sire you're using the stock cm10 kernel
 
Ooooh duh. I should've known that. I was using the Komodo kernel. I was just thinking Jelly Bean ROM, Jelly Bean kernel. I forgot the latest update changed to 4.1.2 and not compatible with 4.1.1. Camera and Wi-Fi work perfectly now. Thanks Rxpert!
 
Finally flashed this again today with the newest 10.20 build and the newer komodo kernel. The phone force closes are completely gone :D

Also didn't have issues with WiFi 3g handoff like the last couple have had for me.

Its good to be back :):)

That's good to know. I went back to MeanROM a couple of weeks ago to let the AOSP ROMs mature a little bit more. It's looking like some good progress is being made.

What happened to the nightlies though? The latest one I see on GooManager is from 10/12.
 
Not sure. I asked in the irc a few days ago but didn't get a response. I haven't been in there for more than a few minutes in weeks
 
So now I have a new problem. Screen won't turn back on during a call. Won't download multimedia texts like an image. I can't wait for stable release.
 
The proximity issue happens I guess. Try wiping across the screen where the sensor is and that may help.

On the MMS, many users say to turn off auto retrieve in messaging or use GOSMS.

I've spent most of the night researching cm 10 and widgets, bu can't find them anywhere. I use Astrid and like their widget for bills . Also can't seem to find global hepatic option. Any help would be appreciated, thanks
