1.5ghz or 1.2ghz which one do you have

0.00 GHz, I don't have a Motion (yet) :p

I LOVE THIS PHONE! Just a little worried its not gonna get a oc kernel but i guess only time will tell. I had the admire it was a fun lil phone but this ones a beastly junkyard dog. it aint pretty but it chews trough apps and makes them its bitch. i say get it

I got the 1.5 Dual Core , It is more likely to get the 1.5 Dual core as 1-2 batches came with it , Most replacement will be 1.2 Dual Core though , both ways , Its fast and snappy! No Lag , No Freezes , Best phone I owned!

Got a LG motion for my wife yesterday... She got a 1.5 and she got excited ... Only good news for her since she was in a hospital bed a few hours ago giving birth... Anyway..hard to get a 1.2 unless replacement

Note - she asked to bring her phone so I brought her the new phone :)

What apps are you guys using to check your processor speed and do you need to root it to under or over clock it?

I believe most the benchmark programs (antutu, etc.) show cpu speed.

Yes, root to underclock. Custom kernel to overclock. The phone by default doesn't have the steps to set for overclocking.

Congratz on the baby!

Thanks , But now its a responsibility , Well I need to "Protect" the house for like 3 months , and work , Verizon getting alot less customers , so I just sit there with my phone and write away! Android Forums , Gaming , ETC , And I get paid for it...

Antutu , It is the best benchmark and it compares so I use it , I just hate LG is considered LGE (LG Electronics?)

I'm guessing metro didn't bother to change their website advertisement. After maybe realizing these phones were going to run 1.5 ghz instead of 1.2 tip many of us are having the normal clocked phones. But then again not everyone jumps on forums top read up on their new phone

I want to work in a phone-repair shop...not an authorized reatail store....I want to fix phones. Not just sit all day..

Off topic: What's big reds official status on rooting?

I've always been with sprint, and they're very root friendly

You mean Metro????
The people that work in the stores usually have no idea what root is....

I went into a store before and I was running rooted stock-like rom , they paid no attention to su app.
