I think it will be a dark day for me and others like me. I'll go so far as to say tit will be our darkest day in the last 12 months.

OTOH if you're in the southern hemisphere, things will be much brighter...

Well for one thing I have my annual performance review.. lol i've been thinking about telling him I might not be in due to the world ending, but I don't think he has that kind of sense of humor.

But I know its just going to be another day. If you ask living Myans today they will even tell you that no catastrophic event ,that ends with killing nearly everyone in the world, is going to happen

Yalda is Iranian Hanukkah. (see photo below) They have a 5-day Menorah, and the text with the picture says "Pomegranate, Watermelon and Trail mix are consumed on Yalda". Trail mix?!?!?

For the people that think the world is going to end because that is when they ancient Mayan calendar ends, what did they expect? The Mayans to just keep writing the calendar until when 2030, 3015, 2156.... They had to stop sometime.
