1900mAh Batteries?

I am not super pleased with the battery life... and I know there are super huge batteries that you can get, but they require a new, bulky battery cover, which means limited aftermarket covers/cases.

I was wondering if anyone had purchased any of the 1900mAh batteries and noticed even a slight difference. I mean... I'm not expecting wonders, but if it proves to be better than the stock battery, I think I will buy one.

Update: I went ahead and bought an Anker 1900mAh battery. I'll have it soon and post results then.

Update 2: Loving this battery. IMHO, this is the battery this phone should have shipped with from the factory. It now gets a full 24 hours of light/mild usage, which for some reason my stock battery couldn't even do. Don't think about getting the battery, think about when you are going to get it.

Im sure the extra 100mah or so help a tiny bit maybe like 30 mins of screen on use and a couple hours of standby but dont expect anywhere as much as a 3500mah. Im getting one of these Hopefully ill get it in a few days. And they have gotten great reviews on amazon and have a year warrenty and not that expensive and the backplate is way better than others ive seen, its not full on chunkers. I have a few tpu cases and what im gonna do is cut out a hole in one of them just for the battery hump and im golden in protection and battery life!:D

Oh trust me, I know it won't help that much. But a few extra hours on stand by would make my phone last through the day.

Maybe last you through the day standby but not in use. Just depending on your usage style. But i dont have that battery so i couldnt say. I just dont like the fact that i have to be "careful" to make it through the day even with a 1900mah battery. When i can get a 3500 and on medium to heavy use get around 10hours if not way more instead of 5 or so I like that no stress satisfaction.

I've heard that the anker batteries give about 10 percent more charge than the stock battery. How long that will last you? I don't know. I'm ordering mine when I get back into town so I'll report back.

I ordered mine for two reasons, what you stated, and it leaves the stock battery as a backup.

I never carry a phone without a spare battery close by (bag, car, somewhere). You can forget to charge, you could just have a heavy use day, or it could burn up leaving you without a battery for a few days, which is something I can't do (I use it for work). Regardless, it's nicer than a double thick battery in my opinion, and the 1900 Ankers are fantastic batteries for the price (especially when you consider how fast they ship).

Hey, Leslie, when you peel the back cover off this thing, do you have a method that doesn't make you feel like it's going to break in half at the camera button area?

For cheap batteries, can't go wrong with Ankers. They're a bit pricier than your standard ebay generics, but they actually pack the juice they're claimed to have. Still no thermistor though.

i received my Anker yesterday... read the instructions, says you should discharge(run it until its dead) and fully charge (charge until full) at least 5 times to get the full ability of the battery. Also do not overcharge,i am guilty of that. when it's 100%,unplug it.

i see a pretty good improvement,i still have 4 more time to run it to 0 and full charge again, but i think this is a keeper.

With this phone you really don't have to worry about that, after it reaches 100% it goes into trickle charge. It waits until the battery discharges to 99% and then starts charging again. You can see this if you use a battery monitoring app.

nice,thanks for the info.

Leslie Ann sold me on the battery. I know it's still better than my previous one but I know during my trip next month that my phone will probably be dead due to me being going to a convention. Line waiting is probably one of the most brutal things I've ever done but using my phone to kill time without worrying about the battery life will be great.
