Man I feel sorry for them, haha.
 
I was told by some CSR that they would have a tough time canceling orders becuase of how many there are and how close to ship date it is.

sent a message through the "contact us" on vzw website. sent it on the 23rd and it was cancelled by the time i came in to work on the 24th and then i immediately pre-ordered again before midnight on friday.

that doesnt make sense. i sent the request on friday at 1am est. i got the email saying it was cancelled at 10:37pm est on friday and come in to work about 11pm est on friday and re-pre-ordered.

Just wanted to answer a question about the 2gb card.

I called cust service friday afternoon after seeing the card show up online. I preordered monday and the CSR said that since the order hadnt actually been processed when i ordered, i would receive the 2gb card like it says on the phones page now.

Dont know if he was just assuming, but if not, i will have no problem calling and asking them to send me a free 2gb card on principle...like someone said, you dont introduce an "introductory offer" once the die hards have already placed the preorder and exclude them from it.

Well I assume that because it says "You should receive your order within 2 - 3 business days." that means we will be seeing phones by Tuesday or Wednesday. For overnight shipping I think its probably safe to assume Tuesday

I wish I had ordered sooner, but I had planned on just walking into the store Thu morning. When I popped in to my local Verizon Corporate store to see if they had a demo (they said they didn't) I learned from the manager he would only have about 10 on launch day and had half pre sold already. He looked up how many were left in the system and it was just over 24,000. I remember reading they had started out with a stock of just over 160,000. I did the math real quick and when I realized they had moved about 136,000 of these in 5 days I rushed back to the office to pre order one! I'm sure some of those went to Best Buy stores and so on, but still, I don't want to take any chances.

I waited until 4/21 because I wanted to make sure BB wouldn't be possibly getting them sooner than VZW. I also wanted to make sure I'd be getting certain discounts etc. Anyways, I also am thinking ordering on the pre-order night would have been a better idea since my order may not be processed until Monday AND for some reason I could only get the 2 day shipping and not the overnight.

Ok, did some random search using order numbers, and looks like 327400*** are either shipped, or 2-3 business days. as for 327401***, "Order Status: Your order is currently being processed. Please check back tomorrow." Come on.... 15000 to go.

I randomly searched 327418602 and it said shipped but then I realized that a lot of these orders are NOT the Incredible and thus they don't have to wait for phone availability so Incredible order may lag behind these.
 
I ordered a case/holster on 4/23 around 6pm (preordered phone on 4/19)

And it showed as being processed as of late Friday night/early Saturday morning
 
This is a bit irritating. The pace at which orders are being processed seems to have slowed.
