Root 1st root complete............question?

I just flashed the Koni Elite ROM. Everything seemed fine. I did a nandroid beforehand and wiped all the data.

Do I have to go through the set-up again? Or is there an easier way?

the best way to restore apps would be to do a batch restore in titanium backup. just do not do a system backup or restore in tb. it will seriously screw with your current rom. everything else like contacts can be done when syncing with google.

I looked in titanium but I don't see any files available in batch.

I did create a nandroid b4 flashing the rom but all those files look like system crap

before you flash a rom you needed to use titanium backup to backup your apps. then once you flash a new rom you can do a batch restore of all your apps. so on that note you can restore your previous backup. download titanium backup and do a batch backup, re-flash another rom, and finally do a batch restore in tb.

I just use appbrain, very easy. Once you flash whatever you want and sign back into google, go to market and re-download appbrain. (After you have already installed it previously before root). Now sync with appbrain and all of your apps will be there waiting for download. Might take longer than TB, but I prefer it.
