1x Isn't THAT Bad

Was sitting at the bar last night, and my phone seemed to operate pretty well on the 1x. I was able to use Facebook at ease and really did not have to wait long AT ALL for stuff to pop up, and to my amazement, the battery was pretty friendly considering all the time I was messing around on my phone last night, probably most of the night. I can only imagine 3G or 4G

1x uses a lot less battery than 3g, maybe thats why you got 43 hours on a single charge. I have 3g. Hope the 2.2 update gets the option to toggle begween 2g/3g like tmobile.

On a off-topic side note:

I sold a spare 2GB MicroSD on Ebay, and the guy already left me positive feedback and I did not even mail out the card yet..... umm...ok...cool....thanks :)

Usually when you buy something, you leave feedback AFTER you receive your item :P

Haha

That's great, NY! What else do you have for sale?

:)

As long as you don't link anything, just talking about items I am selling I doubt is against the ToS.

I am also selling my PS2 with 12 Games + 8 Demos, and My moms old cell phone for parts :P

Just curious,1)was the 2gb sd card the stock one that came w/the phone,2)how much did you get for it.I'm using an 8gb sd,what are you using? I've read that the larger capacity cards will slow down overall phone performance. Is there any truth to this, & if so,would that be due to the sd card being maxed out, capacity wise? Also, what is HUAWEI's recommended max sd card size for this phone?

Nah, I bought a extra one thinking I would want it. It was like $3 from one of those 1 day sale sites, I sold it but only made my money back. As far as the SD card and performance, I don't see how the size of the card is going to slow down the phone. Yes, sometimes like on the computer if your hard drive is pretty much full, you will notice a low performance due to have no room for the drive to open big files and stuff, and they always say to leave at least 15% empty so you can defrag. I really can't see the SD card slowing down the phone, SD card is not RAM, it's flash storage.

I have read online from credible trusted sources that in fact, the bigger the memory size, the slower the phone performance

That's what I suspected,just trying to squeeze
out as much speed & performance as possible. The 8gb I'm using is from my previous phone,it's way more than I'll probably ever need,I still have 7gb to spare.THX for the info.

Kolio you are right actually about the memory affecting performance
