1x2 digital clock widget?

First of all, hi everyone, just signed up today. :) I've been lurking around the forum for a couple of days now, after just getting an HTC Desire HD last Sunday. It really has helped me a bunch and seems a great place, so hopefully i'll get posting a decent amount.

I'd like to apologize for how basic this thread is, but i've been looking around for a while for a 1x2 digital clock widget, and can't really find many decent ones, and the standard digital clock is too big (2x4?). So any help/reccomendations would be greatly appreciated! :)


Also, I realise this is the 'Desire' area of the forum... Is it ok to post in here or should this have been in the 'Desire HD' area? :/

I wasn't being sarcastic, maybe a little funny :)

My point is, only you know what you like. So google clock widgets and browse around until you find something you like, then try it out.

Also, browse around app-brain, which is the market:

And actually jay_kays suggestion turns out to be googles first hit ;)
 
We're not real fond of the LMGTFY-type of response here at AF, as explained in the Forum Rules. If someone takes the trouble to request suggestions then they're obviously interested in what other members use. ;)

Btw, I've moved this to the Desire HD section.
 
Hi, I've been playing with my Desire HD over the past couple of days. I'm using a standard HTC 1x2 clock widget, as I too don't like the default -

hold your finger down on a blank part of your home screen, then tap Widget, on the next page tap Browse all HTC widgets. On my phone the 1x2 clock is number 14.

Unfortunately it doesn't show the weather, but i solved that by using the standard 1x2 weather widget (number 71)

I'm using a 2x1 clock called Digital Clock Widget by Maize. It is an iPhone lookalike :eek:

I was directed to it by a helpful response in a forum. There are so many rubbish apps and widgets and being told by a non contributer to use Google is annoying.

Agreed, I tried a bunch and I liked this one the best for a simple widget that is similar to the one that comes with EVO (yes I know this isn't an EVO forum...) but works with launchers other than Sense. I have it set to run the stock clock app when I tap on it.
